For anyone out there who cares, my favorite part about a RPG is the storyline. to me, a good plot with a handfull of key moments is half the battle when making a great game.

I like when there is some kind of twist, like in Tales of Symphonia. If you've never played that game, play it. Then you'll understand. I also like when characters learn the truth about their past, who they really are
Possible spoilers: highlight to view and stuff like that. I don't think I have a specific moment that comes to mind, but those two are probably some of my favourites. like on FFIX, when Zidane finds out who he really is. -------------------- Why, hello guys! You want some out-there plot twists?
Legend of Dragoon: Possible spoilers: highlight to view Not only is Rose the Black Monster, but Dart's daddy Zieg was both her lover and the first Red Dragoon. Oh, and Zieg's also the bastard that's been orchestrating the destruction of the world. Not to mention Lavitz dies, Haschel is probably Dart's grandpa (on his mother's side), and Meru isn't human. Tales of the Abyss: Possible spoilers: highlight to view Yeah, Luke isn't really Luke. He's a clone of Luke who's unique in that he can change the predetermined fate of the world; Asch is the real Luke. Oh, and Natalia isn't a princess, Guy is actually a nobleman, Jade invented the cloning thing, Tear and Anise have been double-agents since the beginning, and your best friend and father figure is an evil jerk. Dragon Quest V: Possible spoilers: highlight to view Guess what? Your dad was a king and your mom was a weird oracle-medium-thing that's trapped in another dimension. But you aren't the Hero of Legend, your unborn son is. So you have to get married, get your choice of wife pregnant, and get turned to stone for fifteen years so your kids can help you save the world.
