I seriously thinking I need to join a Pokemon forum tongue.gif I post more on pokemon these days than I do on Final Fantasy!

Anyways, as you all might know, Pokemon Battle Revolution came out for the Wii, and it's the first DS/Wii compatable game. When playing with more than 1 person, you can acutally use the DSes as the controllers.

Unlike some of the older pokemon games, there is no traditional "storage" on this game sad.gif
The way it works is your DS syncs up with the Wii, and makes a copy of all the pokemon on you, and in your boxes. As time passes, you can re-sync, and it will just update the changes into the pokemon.

For those of you lucky enough to have an iPod, it's like the Wii is the iPod, and the DS is iTunes set to auto-sync. thumbup.gif

Aside from that, the colleseum(sp?) battles are much like the trainer tower, with the change that anything goes, My Mewtwo is totally legit for the tournaments. As is my Rayquaza, Giratina, Etc...

Like any of the other console rehashes, it's just battling with pretty graphics.

You can earn Pokecupons, and buy articles of cloting for your in-game avatar.

The other thing that you can do with pokecupons (and tediously, I might add) is get mystery gifts. There are TMs you can purchase, equip items, and some rare berries. The TMs are the most exciting I think, the most expensive of which are Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Flametrhower, Psychic, and Shadow Ball. All of which just scream, "I PWN NOOBS!"

But the coolest part of all is that after you play through all the arenas once, a free mystery gift is added called the "Suprise Gift."

It's a Pikachu at lvl 30 that knows Volt Tackle, Surf(!!!!!), Tail Wag, and Thunder Wave.

Volt Tackle owns everything. In the last battle to beat the game, the trainer you fight has a pikachu with volt tackle. It dropped my Charizard in one hit! If there was a way to counter the damage (a shell bell would probably cut it), it would be 100% accruate Thunder.

And who doesn't love the return of the surfing pikachu? That minigame on Pokemon Yellow was the Shiz-nite!

And all that is in single player, did I mention that it will let you hook up online and randomly battle ANYBODY IN THE WORLD? This is what I expected on Diamond and Pearl. No bots, live action. And my base team (even minus my mewtwo) is undefeated!

If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me
