You really ought to go checking FAQs online first....
Now that you've heard that "earthquake to the south" you can go learn the first three new jobs exclusive to the Advance version of the game. Fly down to where the hidden village is on the southernmost point of the long circular land bridge south of the main continents. South of that, underwater, is a cave. In that cave you'll learn three new jobs. After you beat the game, return to that cave to access FF V Advance's hidden dungeon. -------------------- |

Your chance to get Shiva is probably long-gone. You needed to get her out of the hidden tower of Castle Walse back in the first world. You might still have a chance if there is some random battle that can drop the Shiva summon item, but I doubt it.
To get the Hydra/Syldra summon, just visit the pirate's lair after you have a full party of four in the third world. -------------------- |

I also don't think that Shiva can be dropped as an item, BUT you can still use her without obtaining her.
To do this you must have an item called "Magic Lamp", which you'll get on a sidequest later on. What it does is it nullifies MP-use to summon the strongest monsters first, all the way down to the weakest summon and doesn't go anywhere. Usually it's a random summon, so it's all about luck. Unless you refill it, you'll just keep automatically summoning Chocobos until you go back to exactly the area where you found it and push confirm to refill it (a big flashing sound will tell you it's refilled). From what I know, you CAN get two other summoned monsters you missed earlier, later on into the game, which are Possible spoilers: highlight to view at Golem and Ramuh.
