Well, I guess it's that time of year again. The Black Cat decides to make its rounds, and see what it can stir up today. Happy Friday the 13th everyone. I did this last year, and I thought it was fun.
At the end of the day, share a story (funny, sad, hilarious, just plain unluck) with us, and we can have a fun day at the end by sharing. You never know, you might just have had a bad day, and lookin' in here might cheer you up. I'll post mine later, when the day is over that is. ![]() Edit I will let this go a couple of days, then close in on Monday, which is April 16. Have fun. I had the general rehersal for a play my academic theatre group is staging tomorrow. Somebody must've impersonated the director: he complimented us.

Absolutely nothing happened to me (out of the ordinary, that is) and I have a black cat. There's still time, though...there's a school dance later. Pray I don't get smushed by a ladder I happen to be walking under or something.

Today was the Fast for Famine at our school. Ironicaly it was also the day you could buy an ENORMOUS platter of pub food from our Hospitality class... I'm not sure if that was intended or not...

I have one that opened off the evening (overnight), on the 12th into the 13th:
My roommate has a pet cat that is a total *explicitive deleted* and decided to stretch it's declawed front claws on the side of my milk-crate/entertainment tower. The dumbass cat stretched just right to hit the reset button on my PS2 effectively erasing 3 hours of bone fragment collecting (I bought FFXII like 3 days ago and have been playing it nonstop), and since there weren't any save points anywhere near the area I was fighting in, I lost everything I had been working on. I hate cats, especially on friday the 13th. -------------------- If internal struggles were as enjoyable and glamorous as the self conflicted wars within video game characters, we would all be statues, reveling in perpetual self war. -Me Play me on Rock Band 2, GH-WT, or any other Xbox GH! Quad, I've told you about proposing to these girls haven't I? They just don't expect it. You should really ask to buy them a drink first at the very least.
![]() ----- I had a great day at work, and all round fun! Although I suppose I can't really say that about the people I was dealing with. But meh, they should have bought car insurance like everyone else. Quite a few of them probably think black dogs are a lot more unlucky than black cats. Cats don't tend to go crazy if you have drugs on you. Mwahahaha, it was a good day. -------------------- 'Let that be a lesson to all oppressive vegetable sellers.' |

We had a really stupid spirit day at school: Pajama day.
I wore a shirt with Ho Chi Minh on it. But that's not very strange. I should make that a haiku. Quote (kuetipo @ 14th April 2007 07:41) I should make that a haiku. "Stupid Pajama Day Ho Chi Minh has a cool beard Wallow in the norm" That first line has six syllables. I was traveling yesterday, and got a bunch of errands and work done for my upcoming summer courses (getting some housing/storage/mail issues worked out). In fact I was probably more lucky than unlucky - a friendly gas station attendant showed me a shortcut that probably saved me around forty-five minutes. -------------------- |

Well, on my Friday, we were in Athletics and there was a real popular guy in the class, his name was Javier Estravigo. He was just walking and talking to everyone, and then the most annoying woman in class went up behind him to pull his shorts down. I guess she didn't expect to get more out of it than she thought she would....
![]() It was hilarious, and I love Friday the 13th. Nothing really bad happens to me, I just get to have a great laugh at what happens to others. ![]() Anyway, this is actually getting to be pretty popular, I think i'll leave it open a few more days, but if no one post tommarro on April 17th, i'll probably close it. Again, have fun, I know i did. ![]() -------------------- Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Chrsit for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost Acts 4:12 Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost |

It's quite belated by now, six days late, but just for review, the only F13-related thing I did that day was play Nethack (and Nethack gives a default luck penalty of -1 for it being Friday the 13th. +1 bonus to default luck on full moons, and words of caution (accompanied by stuff that doesnt' change luck) on new moons.)

Sorry, been haveing some rough testing lately at my school. I hate the TAKS test, but at least this year will be the last of it I see. Anyway, this is closed, and if you didn't get a chance to post your horrific night, maybe next year.
