Can someone walk me through how to get Mog to join the party while during the option of going into the Serpent Trench so that he could get his water rondo? i completely forgot how. Seems i got him too late for it this time around...
That or if anyone has a link to a faq where it explains in detail how to do this, please paste it ![]() -------------------- Nerf Yiazmat! |

Been a while, but IIRC once you get him in the WoB you can head all the way back to the Sabre mountains by going to South Figaro, Koltz, the returner hideout, and onto the raft.
Past the WoB, there's no longer any way to get this particular dance. You're screwed. ![]() You can also get it while fighting Leviathan in the GBA version, I believe, though I've yet to make it that far. ![]() This post has been edited by Silverlance on 15th April 2007 21:50 -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

Thanks again. Actually, no, it doesn't. The GBA version added some new things, like the Leviathan esper. In all other releases of the game, the water rondo dance is only obtainable in the WoB. Once you're entered the WoR, you've missed it permanently. -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |

The fact that the water Rondo is locked out if you don't get it in the WoB always seemed pretty silly to me - it's pointlessly out of the way and offers little besides completeness. Could you have just put the Blue Dragon in a grotto with a few other local water monsters as randoms to get that taken care of?

It had been for mere completeness, I know the value of that dance is pretty low, but usually when I played FF VI somehow I would pass this dance up for Mog and it always bugged me seeing that blank space on his dance skill list. After reading the Levi post and posting a reply, I sat there wondering when Levi would pop up (lol damn its been a while). I guess I'll have to check out the GBA version, see all the knew things they threw in there.
