I thought it was wonderful. I'll always have a soft spot for the original, but I do love this remake. If you like the older Final Fantasies (or older RPGs in general), you should have no problem getting into this game.

I don't like it. The graphics are ugly and cartoony, it's really hard, and there aren't any save points in dungeons.

Im playing the original right now, and its quite good. I'm thinking how good will it be in 3D?

I really liked the original, so I'm assuming with the graphics makeover and extras and all that jazz it should be pretty cool.

I played it for a little, and I thought it was cute.
But the way, you can't fit the word "Gangster" in the name box -------------------- You're telling me that there's no hope. I'm telling you you're wrong. |

I think the DS version is amazing, especially being in 3-d and the storyline being very linear, which for me can be a very good thing if there is enough substance around said storyline.
The job system is nice to have, and i really want to play the NES version to see how it is. -------------------- <DrkMagimaster282> MWAHAHA. The NES Version is quite good, being on the original Nintendo and all. In my oppinion, better than FF 4.

I really enjoyed FF3 for the DS. I was a big fan of the original NES version, and I felt the remake didn't disappoint. It was challenging, but not so hard as to require outside help. Sages and Ninjas were fixed to not be quite so incredibly powerful, and classes like the Thief actually have purposes now.
As far as 3d modeling goes, the graphics are about on par with the Playstation Final Fantasies, though it lacks the pre-rendered backgrounds. -------------------- With the lights out It's less dangerous |

it's great, a little hard...like it was originally...and if you're a graphix whore you wouldn't like it much...but it's a solid, fun game, and if you like the original version you'll love it, it's virtually the same just 3d and a little easier at times

It was sort of amusing, but frankly, the plot just didn't grab me at all. The blocky graphics are sort of anoying too... They remind me of *shudders* FFVII... Anydangway, the cutscenes are pretty, and the Job system is sort of fun, but all in all, I was disapointed by it.
