Well, I left and joined a fun forum. But I may still post here occasionally. ^^

Wait... I read in the rules you can have signature images...? How exactly?

Well, I prefer the forum I joined, members, rules etc. But it isn't about Final Fantasy, so I may occasionally visit here and look around. You read right, although I am still here (in a way).

The image won't display as it's not allowed. However, the url you would've insterted between the img code will. No offence, but, I don't see much point in making a thread saying that you'll maybe post on the forum (could just be me though). Anyways, welcome back I think.

I came back for any reason someone would join laszlow (I've made that clear as day). I didn't get fed up, because I didn't break the rules. There is no point to prove as it's obvious as ever.

Just came to say I'm back - maybe you should add into the forum rules that 'I'm back' threads aren't allowed. Because from the sounds you're almost judging me for saying: "I'm going to continue posting here but not much."

Well, no, it's not judging. You said you, "Joined a fun forum and might still post here occasionally," which is really pretty pointless. It's a one sentence thread (which doesn't really spark much effort or reason to reply) and didn't really have anything for people to expand on besides.. "oh, you joined a 'fun' forum." I think Ranger was right with his above post on poor wording. You would've had a much better response if you had worded the thread to actually seem like you wanted to greet everybody again and get a welcome back.

Maybe like?

Most of the posts in this thread would have been unnecessary, had the OP been more clear and concise with his wording.

As for me, I was confused as to whether he was saying *this* board is the fun one, or if he joined a different, "fun" board but would still grace us with his presence from time to time. Want to weigh in on that one for me, OP?

...Uh... that's great. Really, it's like going back to an old job you quit, telling them you found work with their competitor at a better salary, but you'll come by every once in a while regardless to say hi (and no hard feelings.) This isn't so much bad wording as a lack of tact.

Being an inconsiderate oppinionated jerk, however, I have absolutely no grounds to condemn anyone for their posts. As such, welcome "back." Though this may not be your primary forum, that shouldn't mean you can't contribute to posts and be a good member. More people is good. More active people is great.

Well... I posted a short post saying I'd still post here.

I said I'd joined a fun forum as in - I find it better and so therefore I won't be active much here compared to there. However I hadn't posted here in ages, so added that I'm back and may post occasionally. If I didn't add the first bit - chances are people would've asked anyway. Sorry if you got offended... but it's me, whom you didn't even like.

That was a pretty odd way to introduce yourself, but still, welcome aboard, and hope you enjoy this place.

This is just a big cluster. I still don't think Ataraxy meant any slight to CoN, but the statements were poorly worded and gave people something to jump all over. This is pretty understandable because people who do like coming here would be annoyed by how the original statement read.

By the same token, there's no reason to pile on. Different strokes for different folks. If Ataraxy never posts at these forums again (and I don't think we've given him any reason to bother coming back at all), then that's fine. If he does, that's fine too.

I'm closing this for everyone's sake. Ataraxy doesn't need to keep defending himself, and we don't need to provide evidence to all the people out there who think CoN is populated with jerks.
