you know, i was planning to write a story about a sequel to the original FFT.
As far as I can remember, this idea was mentioned before and never came into fruition. If you forum dudes and dudettes wanna help me out, give me some ideas on how to write a fan version of FFT 2. Anything is appreciated. You have to actually know the original FFT story before giving me your ideas lol. Yeah, I'm very insecure about things so blame me for acting like a loser. Sowee :X. I'll check every day or so, if school doesnt get in the way (it usually never does, i dont take AP classes). 'Kay? Peace friends. -------------------- "You say life is sacred, makes you feel noble. How do you plan on going about this?
Ideas are nice and all, but without somehow to progress them, they're just ideas. Edit Reread your post. Are you going to write a story then? Like a novel, or a short story? This post has been edited by Kaijyuu on 6th February 2007 05:12 |

Yes, a story. You just give me the ideas, and leave the rest to me.
I'm planning to major in this type of writing, so trust me. -------------------- "You say life is sacred, makes you feel noble. Well, then let me ask you this. If everything that ever lived is dead, and everything that's living is gonna die, where does the sacred part come in?" - George Carlin |

This is really starting to look like you're just looking for others to do the work for you. Please don't post three times in a row like that, use the edit button.

Eh, sorry about that
To be honest, I got some ideas myself as well. If you want to see them, I'll gladly post them. -------------------- "You say life is sacred, makes you feel noble. Well, then let me ask you this. Avi Beoulve, if you're looking for an audience, I'm sure most CoNgoers would appreciate
the entertainment and leave positive feedback as you write and post (there's an entire section just for such creative pursuits). But most of us have been dreaming in Ivalice for years, so you've got to show us where you're taking us, not tell us where we might be going. I look forward to seeing you posts, Avi. It's showtime! -------------------- Putting the A's in W lm rt: A11smart, Jobclass: Retailer. |

Yeah, just give me a few days. As far as I can remember, I had a work of fanfiction similar to this idea. It just never really took off. I've always been raring to do a sequel to FFT, but never had any real motivation. Coming fresh off a story from scratch in partnership with my friend, I think I can write the sequel now
Anyways, yeah. I'll try to recall those ideas and hopefully, they'll come back into my brain. First off though, I think I can do the character descriptions and backgrounds. What's a story without its cast right? If I can, I'll get them done tonight and post them up tomorrow. After that, I might lag a bit considering that I have a girlfriend now. BTW: If you guys want to the read the story that me and my friend has written so far ( We're taking a break for now.), just pm me or w/e with your email and I'll send you the story. It's a two-sided story with separate views from both the main characters. Neat huh? Don't worry, I don't do blackmail or any of that hacker stuff. I don't even know how XD. -------------------- "You say life is sacred, makes you feel noble. Well, then let me ask you this. Hey I'm new to the site and I have registered just purely for the FFT forum and this is my first post, just thought I'd mention it.
Anyways, do you want ideas posted on this thread and how do you want the ideas presented. For example do you want ideas on like what events, characters should be presented or do you want actual pieces of the story written and then you will edit them/put them together in the story? |

Anything is good, but I prefer character bios first.
Here's what I got so far for names: Avisel Beoulve Meseta Beoulve Anna Beoulve Liam Goltana Cy Estain Dempsey Lavanados Valon Seis Lars Svenson Llewellyn Estain Haylie Hyral I'll do bios later, but if you think up some other names that's ok too. -------------------- "You say life is sacred, makes you feel noble. I've never been EXACTLY clear on the ending of Final Fantasy Tactics but Ramza and Alma both do die in the ship in Murond correct? And then Golan gets hung years later for presenting the whole thing in the book? This is just my opinion and you probably won't use this since you already seem to have names but maybe use characters such as Agrias and Golan and make the plot about Golan's efforts to justify Ramza's actions? I think that would be cool to use characters many FFT fans know and not made up ones. Just a thought.

This sequel is a bit different. It takes place far after the events of Ramza's FFT exploits, to the point where he has children. He reestablishes the Beoulve name and rules over Igros and its surrounding regions. He dies of an illness and relies on his three children to take over later on. It may sound confusing now, but give me some time and it will be all clear soon enough.
For your suggestion of FFT character names like Agrias and Olan, I've already planned to do that. However, they will be referred as figures in the past. This either means they passed away or are very old. They will play somewhat an important role. Does that sound good? BTW: Ramza and Alma do not die in Murond Death City. If you pay careful attention to the ending, which probably isn't even needed, you see that the both of them are alive and well. How they managed to survive the self-destruction of Altima is beyond me. The game never reveals it. I can probably make a guess that Alma teleported herself and Ramza out? Lame, I know but its the best I got. This post has been edited by Avi_Beoulve on 23rd March 2007 06:44 -------------------- "You say life is sacred, makes you feel noble. I was kinda confused by the ending video. I was thinking that it only showed that Alma and Ramza were there on the chocobos but they weren't actually alive. Anyways if they did survive I guess it was by the same measures that Delita survived the Fort Zeakden incident. Nevertheless I would like to find a lore page from squaresoft somewhere explaining the ending exactly. I actually wouldnt mind reading the whole Zodiac Brave Story on a website considering dialogue and what not made it a bit confusing. Greatest Plot on any game ever made though. Great story I loved it after 10 years FFT is still the game I keep on coming back to.

Not to mention carefully and beautifully chosen music for each battle. You gotta give props to the musical score in FFT. Just plain awesome.
Anyways, you like the ideas of bringing back old characters and mixing them with the new? -------------------- "You say life is sacred, makes you feel noble. Well, then let me ask you this. An aged Mustadio in a sort of Cidolfas-fashion would be sweet.
other than that Olan, agrias, or Meloudial. This post has been edited by Cloud_Strife510 on 26th March 2007 04:48 -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |
