so its my birthdy today (im now 15) and i just got the best birthday present ever....

One year, I got a Marshall MG 100 half-stack guitar amp and a Digitech RP300b pedalboard, that was pretty epic. I locked myself up and played nothing but guitar for days. Another year, I got an Ibanez acoustic guitar with installed electric tuner, pickups that plug either into an amp or directly into a computer or soundboard.
Nowadays, people tend to buy me copious amounts of alcohol and if I live through the night, it's the best gift ever. I get money thrown at me by family members and occasionally a book, movie or a CD. It's all good, really. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

I got a hat for my 18th birthday. The Al Capone style, if you know what I mean. It was great, because I always wanted to have a hat like that, but I never could find any in Poland (yup, nobody's walking around in hat in Poland...). I once had seen one in Vienna, though, but it had costed way too much for a high school student to afford ;)

I got a few computer games and books for my last birthday, quite a few good ones!
Next one is coming up any minute and I expect the same again, as it is the most obvious thing for people to get me. Except I will get slightly less as it's not my 21st this time round. A few years ago my fiance found for my birthday a vintage Neal Anderson Bears jersey. Neal Anderson was the Bears Pro Bowl running back in the years following Walter Payton, so he was the superstar RB of my youth. The best part is that it wasn't like the replica jerseys you can order nowadays, it was actually like the style they used to make them back then, which was more like a real football jersey.

I really didn't get "great" presents on my birthday since it is on December 31st. Xmas is just 6 days before it, and here in Puerto Rico kids also get presents on January 6th on Three Kings Day. I have to say, a bottle of BLUE LABEL on my 22th birthday, and before that it was money. With it I bought tons of great games for my PSX back in the day before the PSone came out. OH YEAH, I did get a SONY 52Wx4ch CD/mp3 player on my 22th birthday with four new SONY xplod speakers for my car, which died last year. I miss my car.
