No bra+no little red jacket=drooling all over myself

Dang, and she's a fan! I have always scorned fanboys, but if I was ever to be one, I'd be an Aeris fanboy.

Hairstyle, perfect... costume, pretty good... no fatness... FF fan...

We have found the perfect woman for Figaro!

I looked up the site, but couldn't find THAT picture...

I would go to a con, were it not for stuff like man-faye and this:
GAH!

Scarred, I am.

The Internet Chronicles*
Hello internet! I see you've learned about the opposite sex today. This is called a "hot chick." It is entirely normal for young boys to get all excited over one. It is, however, considered "creepy" and "weird" to attempt to track down someone when they post their picture on the internet for that sole reason. Don't lose hope, however: the outside world has plenty of these "hot chicks." Some may even want to get close to you and be friends if you don't stalk them. smile.gif

Be weary however: most of them are considered "normal" by social standards and do not dress up as video game characters in their day to day lives. Many would say it's for the best. There's no shame in accepting one of these so-called "normal" life-styles, and it often contributes to your social standing. Most of these girls who dress up as video game characters only look good because of the effort they make to ressemble their chosen character. Underneath the mask, they're not all that special-looking.

Tune in tomorrow when we learn about the mysterious ball of flaming light that floats in the sky during the day and its uncanny ability to change your pasty white skin into a healthy vibrant fleshy color that will help mask your inherant geekyness. wink.gif

Nooo!!! Don't get me wrong here. I'm not an Aeris fanboy. I'm just curious to know who that cosplayer is. I think she did a really good job...

But yeah, she is hot. shifty.gif

Poor Figaro; I think I've seen worse, though. U__U

Note: I found this image using Google and I think I typed Aeris... either that or FFVII...

Progress: This the same girl?

Don't know, don't care. Moving on.

Kinda has a young Gillian Anderson flava about her.

That first Aeris appears to be the one from Kingdom Hearts. Nice costume, I love her hair.

Well... seeing as they both have different eye colors, I'd say that, no, they're not the same. Plus, the second's hair is lighter. And, y'know... her face is completely different.

That... pretty much answers that, I would guess. smile.gif

Heh...imperialstooge beat me to it.

Not being an Aeris fan, the only good Aeris is a zombie Aeris!

(And as we all know, the only perfect cosplayer is the box.)

I'm positive the girl in the first pic has a site - I know I've run across it before - but I have no idea what the URL is.

But please don't get the idea that we're suggesting you go to Google Image Search and search for FF7 or Aeris and escpecially not Tifa. We're a semi-family-friendly site and forum, after all.

And dude, on that girl's site... damn, she has some good costumes.

If there was an AC movie not done in graphics, she's so Aeris. I literally thought Aeris was real when I saw her. I quickly remembered wait cosplay.

Oh wow, I used to talk to that girl a lot online, surprising to see that she's still around. Doing that thing she does, that is.

btw, her early cosplay photos just weren't as good.

Le sigh.

Needless to say I was really surprised to see that photo and almost instantly recognized her. A shame that we no longer speak, but that's what life does to ya when you get older.

Sheesh, this counter thing must be broken, I couldn't have made -that- many posts.

Haha, I love satire posts, 50 points to Silverlance.

Thx anyway guys, I'm gonna try to get in contact with her again.

I was wondering if anybody knew of people that were really good a cosplaying.
This is still slightly game related, cuz I know of a gal that has her own website that she displays her cosplay outfits on, and she does a crazy awesome Aerith. She's a seamstress by trade, and in her free time, she makes anime/videogame outfits.

But this is really the only "good" cosplayer I know. Everyone else I've seen is kind of fakey looking... amatuer if you will. So let me know if you know any good cosplayers, cuz that would be awesome!

Heh, I did Vincent Valentine not so long time ago. I sucked because I just couldn't help smiling, but hey, my costume was perfect ;) And I think I'll be doing Edgar from FFVI sometime soon.

I am loving those adaptions... I wonder if she designs her own patterns, or modifies existing
ones to suit her needs. Fabric-crafting is one skill in which I've never put enought points into
levelling, but then I can't help but admire the aftermath of adept hands and clever minds.

Other CoN parents: do any of you produce costumes for your children's school affairs? My son is still
only three, so only Halloween for me so far. But I can't wait until he starts school!

Well first of all i just want to throw this out there and do not make fun of me.
But that girl must be some sort of geek if she is dressing up like a ffvii character and posted it on the internet.

She is a geek. That's the point. Gamer girls... geek girls... COS player girls... they are their own subculture.

And personally, I find the majority of them to be teh hawt.

Case in point, how can you find a girl with librarian glasses not attractive?!? Go find Gears' engagement thread and look at that woman he is marrying. She will melt your eyes. In a good way. The Aeris chick up above is along the same lines.

Agreed Hamedo on all accounts.

She is very good looking and definitely has that look going for her. I think I'd like to see a best of cos play get together where you get the best people from any final fantasy everywhere to do it. I bet we would get some good people there. I do a good Setzer give or take a few facial scars.

I really want to see that guy who does a Kefka Cosplay so awesomely

Isn't all that pretty? Uh. *goes to look at picture again* I think we're looking at different pictures here.

Anyway, anyone who can sew up a costume like that is awesome, in my opinion.

Beauty is in the eye of the beerholder.

I mean beholder! The eye of the beholder!

*ahem*

Different strokes for different folks, I guess. While not a "perfect 10" in my eyes, the girl above is certainly high up there. Bonus points because she has an interest in gaming, or at least gaming characters. That alone makes her stand out to me. Isn't that a little piece of what love is all about? You don't fall for the most attractive person you see.... you fall for the one that lines up with you. wink.gif

I've gone horribly off-topic.

Wow, that was friggin brilliant. Loved the characterization, and devotion to costume.
He truly does steal the show. If would be sweet to mate the two YouTube videos of
him with a false ending in between! I wonder how much practice the laugh took to
get it just right. One thing I loved about the Adella cosplay is her perfect rendition of
the hairstyles. Extreme passion!
