Okay, so as the topic implies, Im a technological retard. I found myself with a really good strategy on defeating Yaizmat in FFXII and I really wanted to post it on youtube or something so that others could see and use my strategy.

All is good, except I don't even know how to record a video from my tv...

Would anybody care to give me a beginners rundown, thanks in advance blush.gif

Hm...perhaps you would need to use a Video Capture Card. They go pretty cheap on Ebay.

Another option is to purchase the Dazzle DVC device, which I hear can plug in right to your PS2 for recordings.

However, even if you did record a video, you'd have to use certain compression methods so you don't end up with some huge multi-gigabyte video file.

Unfortunately, I'm also technologically impaired, and I don't have either of these yet so I wouldn't know what to hook up to what or anything. Hopefully someone else will come along...

You could also get a TV tuner for your computer, and record it like that... somewhat in the same fashion as you would use a video capture card...

However they run for about $100... and I cant afford one... haha

You might be able to run it through a VCR and record it to a VHS but little good that would do you if you want to upload it to youtube... sorry dude... not much I can do for you either... but if you figure it out... let us know how you did it smile.gif

Still working on it... I used a VCR when I was a kid, just to brag to my friends, but this is for educational purposes, and if I do figure it out; you guys will be the first to see it. Thanks.
