Basically, this is just to see who you guys thinks had the worst fashion sense in any of the games.

I have to picks actually.  First would be Kefka because he looks like a psychotic clown...which he is.  Second is Kuja.  Honestly, if I didn't already know that he was a boy, I swear I would've thought he was a girl.

*attempts to summon queenie fashion sense....fails*  Dammit!

Okay, who has the worst fashion sense...  Well, while I don't think he has the worst fashion sense, I'm going to have at least say Kuja simply for the fact that he wears a thong.

P.S.:  I honestly like everyone's outfits.  Especially Squall's.

Most definitely Kefka.  At least Kuja keeps his clothes on for the final battle, whereas Kefka decides to wear a feather and a pink sheet.

I would definitly have to go with Gau. I just don't like the hideskin look. I mean couldn't he have kept the suit on, he looked pretty good in that.

Kefka is a close second- at least his "outfit" in the final battle

Kuja. Hes like the David Beckham of Final Fantasy in womens clothes...

Or Squall, Zell, Selphie,Irvine and Quistis. Elite Special Forces my bottom, the Hereford boys (and probably some girls- i dont exactly check SAS's staff rota) dress in nice, practical gear compared to those fools.  :)

Ugh. Her new outfit reeks of skank.

I liked Kefka's clothes. *L* They were funny. I didn't like how all the girls in 6 had like... body suits on, but such is the sprite. :D It's easier to draw legs than outfits.
I personally like Celes' Amano artwork outfit better than the one in the game. :P
I didn't like Tidus' outfit. Laaaaame. :P

It was a half joke at that. Think about it though, it's makes it that much easier to decide who Yuna could be played by in a live action movie. *coughangelinajoliecough*   :)

I agree with Beth that Tidus has an incredibly horrible outfit.  Nice knee-net-thing, dork.

Well it looks like they're putting a whole lot into fashion sense in FFX-2. Every time you do a technique, magic, etc. your outfit changes (for the females at least). Come on now, isn't that a bit much?

Why do females always get mad when someone mentions ANYTHING about a female videgame character who's not dressed like an old lady? :p Every girl I talk to FLIPS out about Yuna in X-2.

Moderator Edit
What the heck are you talking about? You don't know many females then :-P We don't all get mad. Well, you all know why I don't, but I'm sure if you asked Hsiu or Hikaroo, or the handful of other girls that post here, they don't necessarily want all the female characters in a bag dress and high boots either ^-^ Oh, and I fixed your first word from who to why.

I think it's the hotpants levi's that gets their goat, but I digress...

Personally the worst assault to my limited sense of fashion was without a doubt the Queen of Alexandria in XI.  Whew, nevermind the fact that she was beaten repeatedly and voilently with the ugly stick, her fashion sense only added fuel to that nasty lil fire.  And Zidane came in pretty close behind with all them frills and fluff.  Y'know for a guy who seems pretty tied up for the princess, he's a got a setup that screams a completely different message...

Then again so did Kuja...y'know what I'm stopping right now.

I dont like Garnet's pants, they just don't look good on her.
not the type of character that should be wearing that.

I dont like Squall's outfit too much either, i think the outfit
in Kingdom Hearts that he had was ALOT better.
Perhaps the only outfit improvement in that game.

the Cid in KH was bad, the tool pack.. whatever, looks
more like a barrel.

I also don't like Wakka's hairstyle..
imo, squaresoft is running out of ideas..

For outfit improvements, check Cloud. His original costume was cool, his KH one cooler.

And Squenix isn't running out of ideas, they just keep hiring Tetsuya Nomura. Check the Character Designer topic.

Kuja, hands down.  His questionable choice of lingerie is just something I never want to see in an RPG character, playable or otherwise.  (Though I will say his gratuitous fashion faux pas gave him one of the most terrifying appearances, at least for a Final Fantasy villain.)

I think Tidus's outfit was good match for his character, but as for D.P. not liking Tifa's, I'm practically heartbroken.  How could anyone dislike something that made me so happy?  Kuja's outfit I think is a bad match for his character.  The only clothes I've hated are Zidane's, and just about anyone's from FF8 ecxcept Squall and Edea (although Lulu had more or less the same thing done ten times better :)  ).  The Black Belt from the original FF1 looks like he's wearing sweatpants.   :blah:

FFVI:
Celes and Terra -- regardless of what certain people on this site (coughRUBEScough) may think, chain mail underwear is not appropriate for anything involving actual combat.
Cid -- yeah, wassup with the raincoat, yo?

FFVII:
Cait Sith -- okay, so maybe that doesn't count as fashion sense, but wouldn't the game be better if we didn't have to look at him?

FFVIII:
Rinoa -- the Demi Moore look wasn't in even when Demi Moore was wearing it.  (I actually don't think her clothes are that bad, and I like the colors, but from a fashionista standpoint, they reek.)
Squall --  fur is like so last season.
Selphie -- if you can't stop the flippy thing, then SHAVE IT OFF.

FFIX:
Zidane -- again with the hair, and what's up with the tail?!
Garnet -- ...

FFX:
Tidus, Wakka -- sports gear is great! ..when you're playing sports.  Same deal with the impropriety as Terra and Celes.
(other than these two, I loved the outfits in FFX, especially Yuna's and Auron's.)

FFX-2:
Um, lessee...  While some of you might think it's great to have girls running around in next to nothing, I am of the persuasion that hotpants and bikini tops are not appropriate for exploring/fighting/whatever!  If they just dressed like that during downtime, they'd still look pretty skanky to me, but the arguments about girls wanting to look good would at least fly.  Insisting that what they think that being "sexy" is more important than wearing functional clothing is just plain ignorant.

The worst is probably Edward from FF4, dressed in pink and puple. Zidane is sa close second, for the gloves, but I did like the tail.

By the way
