So I'm all but done now in putting together my new PC, which means Climhazzard got my old PC, which means that Clim's old PC is now destined for the chop shop. I have various parts left over to sell, but I figured that only one of the things might interest folks here, so here you go.
I have two 40GB hard drives, clean and empty, that I now have no use for. I have every free slot full in both my computers, plus I already have a drive in my external hard drive enclosure. So unless someone from CoN wants to make me an offer, they're going on eBay next weekend. They're both in perfect condition and will go plenty cheap, good for a backup drive for media or something like that. 1) Western Digital 40GB, 7200 RPM IDE Drive - these look to be going for about $15 to $20 on eBay, plus shipping; give me $20 total and it's yours, or make me an offer. 2) Samsung 40GB, 7200 RPM IDE Drive - Works perfectly but isn't as popular a brand as the WD drive, so call this $17 or make me an offer. Ask questions in here or PM me to make an offer, highest realistic offers come Friday evening will get them or they'll go on eBay. If you're looking to build a low-power machine for cheap just to play around with, I have other parts, PM me. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

It sounds interesting, frankly, though I'm in no immediate need of a HD. Sorry. I'll keep an eye (ear?) out for someone looking for a HD around the office and see if they're willing to pay anything interesting for one before friday, though. Some people here are always buying random bits and pieces to build and sell PCs in their spare time, so who knows.
![]() If not, well, good luck on eBay. Who knows, you might get a really good offer. ![]() -------------------- "Judge not a man by his thoughts and words, but by the quality and quantity of liquor in his possession and the likelyhood of him sharing." |

I figure I should update this before someone asks: I'm buying the Samsung.
