So I just spent 7 hours playing Zelda "twighlight princess" on Wii. I have concluded that this game is amazing. I like the fact that the game is challenging but at the same time its actually fun. All the other Zelda games I have played I get bored after the first 45 minutes. Not this game my friends a solid 7 hours later and I want more haha.

So who else here is playing Zelda TP on Wii? I want to hear why you like it (or not), and your longest continuous playing time.

I'm actually taking a brief break from it right now.

So far, it's a pretty good game. It's by no means my favourite in the Zelda series--I still prefer LttP and LA from what I've seen so far. The graphics in this are okay, I guess, but the camera isn't adjustable on the Wii version, and the default view they give me is too close to Link and not angled right for me to be happy with what I can see. That's probably my biggest gripe about the game, actually.

There aren't enough monsters to fight. In the other Zeldas, there were random monsters in your path all the time. In this one, you have to wander around Hyrule Field to run into maybe five total.

I guess we'll see how it goes.

I just started playing the game and I must say is quite amazing. I'm looking forward for more hours of gameplay.

I kind of feel mad for never in my life playing a Zelda game before, but I did watch how other people played it.

I haven't played it, but I've watched it extensively, and I like the gameplay. I haven't actually used the remote control yet in this game (I have elsewhere and it's a bit shaky and oversensitive when I use it), so I can't say about the play control though. But the features make it seem fun.

It does decent fanservice to classc Zelda fans, although there are of course some differences. Most notably, while chickens are still invincible, they can no longer be beaten to your own death anymore.

Additionally, I object to the use of that "battle theme" every time you approach enemies (it gets old and overused VERY quickly), and I prefer more lush music to some areas such as dungeons, instead of unnoticeable ambience (think LttP, which is one of the few Zelda games I've played so far).

My friends here have already discovered some of the more hilarious features of the game though, such as hitting oneself on the head with a dominion-rodded axe statue. Additionally, given that I'm a Castlevania fan, you can assume that I made Soma jokes when wolfie ripped souls out of those strange scythe-carrying monsters.
