I was one of the nerds that stood out in the cold to get her WoW: Burning Crusade at midnight. My toes were frozen, I was surrounded by morons but it was worth it. It was also worth it to take the day off from work to play it for 7 hours and experience the Blood Elf race. I like them. I made a female blood elf mage named Segoline but it took me 7 hours to get her to level 9 which doesn't seem like much. You have to understand, though, that the new areas are crowded with new players that are all fighting for the monsters and items to complete their quests. And of course not many want to work together for some reason. I was lucky at one quest that there were like 8 people waiting for this "leader" to respawn and they invited me in to their group so we could all grab his head. Anyway, so far I'm satisfied and look forward to future expansions.

The belfs will finally equalize the horde and alliance population of n00bs.

Last night, I saw a lvl 2 female belf naked and dancing on a mailbox in Orgrimmar, and I thought "now we'll know how the alliance has felt all this time with those night elves". happy.gif

I am hoping to roll a belf sometime in the future, though. I think I'll wait till the newness rubs off a bit though, so I won't have to go through the trials you described. I hear the belf starting zone looks amazing.

My friend's lvl 61 says that outworld has some amazing drops. They have been replacing HWL gear and epics with the greens from there.

Heh, yeah, I rolled a Draenei Shaman because, come on, it's a Shaman man. Thing of it is, they've increased the respawn for those new areas IMMENSELY. Kind of funny because it's still hard to get a kill, but there's corpses everywhere.

I replaced two pieces of Lightforge and an Epic Chest tonight in Outland with my Paladin, was kind of crazy, two of them were just green quest rewards for crying out loud. One cool thing that's going on in Outland right now, at least on my server is there's some sort of unspoken truce. Horde and Alliance are just letting eachother exist with almost no ganking whatsoever. I mean, I run ALONE into an area that has like 8 horde that can see me clearly, I get a little anxious, but nah man they left me alone.

hahaha.

Well I've never owned WoW myself, I've always been intrigued, but I don't like paying a monthly fee. While hanging out at a friends house we all took turns on his WoW account, and while playing I saw that some people are a little too into female night Elves.

I have 2 BE's a lvl 6 Paladin and a lvl 12 Warlock. Im on the Quel'Dorei server, and man in the starting place you always see people type: Wheres the guys scroll? Wheres the plaque? Wheres the village? When seriously, they dont read, I had to tell some people off with the power of reading. Oh and yes I do feel your pain with leveling, theres still alot of people at the starting places, especially
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
The academy at the start
And man, with the Blood Elves and Forsaken, I can already tell if theres gonna be a another WC3 what the plot is gonna be. And I just cant WAIT to get to outland. (soo much more lvls away) I sorta hate the Dranei, but we'll see later on...

Edit
Oh and when my mom got it (lol, atleast I paid for it) she said there was quite a bit left

I've heard stories similar to Zero_Hawk's. The ganking in outworld is minimal. People just want to explore and get some nice gear. Ganking is still happening around Westfall and Tarren Mill on most PvP servers, but outworld has become something of a "green zone".

Alas, it will be a LONG time before I can get out that way.

I've reminded myself constantly that I have willpower and will not play this game anymore(I stopped playing in June), but it's Outland... and I want to get my level 60 mage to 70... biggrin.gif I will have to get Final Fantasy XII and Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria out of the way before I go back to the game... and also transfer my character to another server... so basically, I'm going to be spending a lot initally... pinch.gif I was able to start a Blood Elf Warlock in my brother's account for a bit and I loved the Blood Elf starting zone... wub.gif

I hear it's beautifully done. I haven't heard anything at all about the Drenei starting zone, the Exedar, though.

I'm just super glad to get back to some somewhat difficult 5 man instances. Every single place before coming to Outland is a yawn fest for me now. I rolled a Draenei hunter with ZH, but I really don't see myself playing him all that much until my pally is 70 and my rogue somewhere close to it. The Exodar is pretty cool looking, but I don't think it really compares with the BE starting area. Blizz hit a homerun with that locale.

Why in god's name would you spend 60$ on WoW trading cards?

This is an easy question to answer, or at least this is why I would. First of all, the boosters for this game are so hard to find that one is better off just getting the starter deck for every class possible. Those cost $14.99 at most of the places I've seen them. So you buy four starter decks, there's $60 right there. Now again back to the boosters. They are so hard to find in stock because of the company that released them that when you do finally find them, you need to buy a lot. They are $3.99 at the place that I've seen them at. So you buy about 15 of them and there's your $60.

I thought the Draenei were cool. Like a gang of assassins or something. Favourite part of my favourite campaign in TFT. Oh and in Defence of the Ancients, the Stealth Assassin is a near permanently invisible Draenei: I'm unequivocal in picking him! Might try and recreate him at some point or another. I'm going to start WoW because I realised you can play it in window mode, so it won't completely consume my time. No doubt it will anyway.

I know EXACTLY what kind of Draenei your talking about, and that's actually what I thought they were going to look like, but then the Horde would have an extra race. There actually blue Eredar type errr things? (Archimonde, Kil'jaeden)

Oh and so glad to already have a lvl 20, and as low as this may sound this will be my highest level yet, but that's because I almost always soloed (ugh cant spell) every quest with my good ol' priest, and it wasn't a shadow priest.

I'd never tell you how to spec.... How you enjoy and play the game is up to you. I will say that from personal experience and alot of WoW forum reading that leveling a priest as anything except shadow spec is gluttoning for punishment. Imposible? No. Grueling? Most definitely. Have you considered shadow spec to 60, then respeccing?

My favorite character right now is my rogue. I'm combat sword spec'd till 60, then I'm respeccing to mutilate daggers. ph34r.gif

Hmm, well, I got to level 70 on my mage a couple of months ago and got my flying mount not too long after and honestly, if it wasn't for needing the flying mount for Tempest Keep and thus, Karazhan, it'd be a complete waste of time and it's extremely slow. You're probably better off using flight paths... Although, this is completely different if you have an epic flying mount, which costs about 5000 gold... sleep.gif So, alas, that epic gryphon will never be mine... But, nonetheless, I'm still trying to level my Draenei Shaman and she just hit 37. I love her and I can't wait to get Dual Wield and eventually get to Outland to level. wub.gif

My warlock.. is only level 65 but he has 402 stamina and 370 intellect... 6399 Health and 7482 mana. And man some of the aggro in Outland is MAJOR frustration. But I have some nice equipment Well I hope this link doesn't die..

But I seriously found a big difference on my priest, I got him for level 18 to 26 in like 3/4 days, big difference than from my first character.

Edit
May be super late, but might as well not double post, but as of July 9th, 2:00 AM I just leveled to 70. It took me since late January for this....
