"Cowboy-like" things are right up my alley, but summons doubling as Transformers is a little sketchy. I saw a pic of "lowrider Shiva" a few days ago and it's just a bit...weird. I've heard lots of jokes about people wanting to "ride Shiva," but this is a bit ridiculous.

Well RPGamer did cite RPGfan and "The Magic Box" as sources, so I guess It is slightly different.
as much as I don't like the idea of Shiva and other Espers being transformers.(Maybe Optimus prime will be in the game  )The characters seems to be a break from some previous cliches, and they seem to be attempting a game wear advanced technology is featured. Lightning looks like a more interesting protagonist than Tidus or Vaan scanny scan So it does show some promise, but I still have doubts. I'm really open to whatever they throw at me. I'll buy it, play it, and then say what I think about it. I like new things, and by ATV system, do they mean ffx/vii/viii style? Anyhow, it sounds different, and new, and new is refreshing to a guy like me.

The little that we know of the story so far intrigues me and I'll welcome the ATB system back even though I do enjoy the system in XII. The summon thing does sound a bit funky but probably something I will be able to overlook. I look forward to the games release for the time being.
