I was just wondering what other forums you all post/have posted at. My others are/were:
All Things Final Fantasy- (2001 - 2003). I stayed until it was shut down. Final Fantasy Infinity- (2003 - 2004). I stayed until it was shut down. Final Fantasy Impulse- (2004 - 2005). I left for the summer of 2005, then came back to see that they changed the name to "Empyron" and turned it into an Art/General Discussion forum. Next. I guess after that I got a bit disenchanted and have been FF forum-less for a while. Where have you all been? -------------------- You don't scare me, you talking blobs of oozing slop! I've been a member of Psypoke Forums since March/April. It's my most frequently visited forum; I visit every day, practically.
I'm also a member of Fire Emblem Online, but I go there much less frequently than Psypoke. I've been a member since October. I go to a few other miscelleanous Pokemon forums, but I rarely post. Serebii and Cave of Dragonflies, anyone? -------------------- |

www.hsquizbowl.org - I quasi-retired from the college quiz bowl scene after nationals last spring, but I'm still a moderator here, somehow, being made one when I was a senior in high school. I've been with hsquizbowl.org since its invention, and for a long time this was my only forum (around 2000-2003).
www.gamefaqs.com - Basically, when I really get into a new game, I lurk around on that game's forum, then I leave when I beat said game or put it on hiatus. I hung around on the Fire Emblem: Blazing Sword and Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones forums for well over a year when I was playing the GBA FEs at a hardcore rate, so I guess those two were the only boards that I could be considered a "regular" of, but I hardly ever post on any gamefaqs boards anymore. www.devils-lair.org - I was very impressed with their DMC 3 guide and DMC 3 vids, so I joined their forums last summer when I was really stoked about the wealth of DMC 4 info being released. They are only slightly more intelligent than gamefaqs' forums (which isn't saying much), but I've grown attached to them. There's a little intelligent discussion amidst all of the teenaged angst and yaoi fanart;l just stay away from the Spammage World forum. www.uvagamers.com - This is the official forum of the Gamers' Club from my university. Just about everyone on the board personally knows everyone else on the board, but we have fun with it anyhow. It's only existed for around a year, but it's a great place - probably my favorite forum other than CoN. What we really need to do is revive our podcast.... http://www.ffnet.net/forum- FFNet forums. Unfortunately, not as great as they used to be in terms of actual discussion, but my first forum nonetheless.
http://www.eyesonff.com/forums- Eyes on Final Fantasy forums. Still a great place to be, and very fun. http://www.gamefaqs.com- I'll also lurk around any particular board to any game I've received, though I'm an off-and-on regular of the SO3 boards. http://www.kingdomzeal.nulani.net/valhallaforums- Valhalla forums, a Valkyrie Profile message board. Unfortunately, I'm all VP'd out at the moment and haven't been there in quite some time. I think that's all. I can't really handle being a regular of more than three or so boards at a time. -------------------- |

Well, I've been (active) here for nearly a year now. Other than that, I was on the Ctrl+Alt+Del webcomic forums for a while, and I have accounts on a million other forums that I don't use.
Also, there are a bunch of forums that never hit it big that a friend of mine or I made. Almost all are dead now. -------------------- Squenix games completed: FFIII FFIV FFVI FFVII FFIX FFX FF Tactics: Advance 2 Chrono Trigger Dragon Quest 8 Dragon Quest 11 Super Mario RPG |

I'm a regular over at MontrealMusicScene.com, though I don't use the forums as often as I used to. It's a neat place to keep track of what's going on in my city's music world.
Otherwise, I'm strictly a CoN regular. I've been to other forums like gamefaqs and the Bob And George forums, but they don't have the same community feeling that CoN has, which ultimately drives me away. Beyond that, I hardly have the time to keep track of more than one or two forums at the most. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

It's not my fault my idea of a good time involves several sheep, a tazer, horse tranquilizers, a cd full of Disney classics and a whole vat of KY jelly. I blame society. CoN isn't as rough to get established in as opposed to a ridiculously large, idiot infested forum like over at Gamefaqs. There, you might as well not even bother to post. At least here, for the most part, what you write gets read and responded to, conversation isn't hard to initiate or maintain...unless it's in the FF VII section. Still, no matter what I guess it's just a matter of posting and letting time take it's course. Entirely too much work for me, anymore. -------------------- Okay, but there was a goat! |

My answer on the old thread no longer applies.
I bounce over to the Superman Homepage less often than here, and that's more or less it. Well, I go to Newsarama, which is a Comic Industry news site that's basically done in a message board fashion, but I don't post there. Ever. Things get way out of hand over there for no reason, primarily due to the unweildy size. -------------------- "I had to write four novels before they let me write comic books." -Brad Meltzer |

I've noticed that the bigger the forum, the more idiots tend to be there. So I tend to stay from forums like gamefaqs, and gaia online. CoN is a great size, as is FESS, and starmen.net isn't too bad.

I hang out at three forums. One of which being this particular forum.
Second would be the Something Awful forums. Third is the Steve and Mac forum. Which is pretty much just hosted by Comic Genesis in a subforum. I don't like the idea personally, but my partner thinks its a good idea until our fanbase is more established. Not all the forums I've ever posted at ever, but a few of the ones that have stood out/are more recent.
www.eyesonff.com – Eyes on Final Fantasy Forums: Was a member there until I was banned for trolling about a year ago. Since then I made about 16 additional accounts before I gave up (well, officially). If you can get over the unusually high concentration of FF fanboys and the nazi-like Administration (‘sup Zeromus? www.fools-gold.org – Fools Gold Forums: A forum who’s members primarily consist of banned EoFF members. There isn’t really much of a point to the forum other than the perpetuation of internet memes and bitching about EoFF (there is a whole section in the archive for that) and it [url]doesn’t have a whole load of active members but it’s currently my favorite forum out of the ones I post at. There is also some pretty decent gaming discussion sometimes, if horribly elitist (but in a good way!). www.ffshrine.org – Final Fantasy Shrine Forums: Been a member there since the middle of 05. Good for those who aren’t fond of the strict rules that other FF forums perpetuate and who like the word ‘nigger’. Stay away if you happen to like Final Fantasy VII; you have been warned. Decent forum overall though, with pretty regular activity. www.ffinsider.net – Final Fantasy Insider Forums: I basically only joined to bring EoFF drama there in relation to a certain member for lolz. Little FF activity, or anywhere else that isn’t the spam forum. I haven’t really stuck around. www.adventchildren.net – Advent Children Forums: Only really joined because it’s the most active FF forum on the net. A little too much FFVII fanboyism for my tastes (yeah, I know; I should have seen it coming). Also lots of administrative drama from what I’ve seen. I think there was even problems with paedophiles at one point. Awesome. www.ffnet.net – Final Fantasy Network Forums: After Joining because it had a stupid-ass url, I’ve stuck around since honestly no one else will. Seriously there are like 6 active members out of a member list of thousands. I don’t know what the hell happened since I hear it used to be pretty popular. There are a few decent members left and the FFVIII fanboys are pretty good for lolz when you challenge their views though. www.xgam.org – Xenogears: God and Mind Forums. I actually think Xenogears is a pretty half-assed game so I have no idea why I joined. Not particularly active but decent for in-deapth Xeno analysis I guess. www.gamerscut.com – Gamer’s Cut forums: Only just started up over the past few months, it’s pretty unknown. I doubt it will last to be quite honest. www.evamonkey.com – Eva Monkey Forums: Pretty much the only decent place on the net for Evangelion discussion. Some of the theory threads are pretty out there (one of the administrators believes Kaworu was a girl, for example) and it has a lot of random downtime but if you want Eva news its pretty much the place to go. www.xenolegacy.com –Xenolegacy Forums. Xenosaga Forums, with what seems to be a focus on Episode III (good news, since it’s the best one). Only just started posting there. Seems alright but I would prefer it if there was more activity in the Xenosaga forums. Haven’t really looked anywhere else. The only other FF forum in which I have an active account is FFgurus.net. I see a handful of CoN'ers on it, but I don't log on nearly as often 'cuz I mainly frequented the RPs, but inactivity from other users strayed me away.
FFonline is a pretty interesting site with itneresting forums, but they won't accept me yahoo e-mail account, so I don't bother. -------------------- "Thought I was dead, eh? I'm sure we had one of these before. Anyway, the other main forum I post on apart from this one is http://doughnutvalley.proboards33.com/
Which is just a fun friendly forum where you can talk about pretty much anything. It's not for people who like to hurl insults and argue though. I joined a few others but don't post much generally. -------------------- 'Let that be a lesson to all oppressive vegetable sellers.' |

I used to have a list with 70+ forums I'd frequented, but that kind of got cleared when the computer went into the fixers. I'm quite content to visit a few forums nowadays; travelin' all over for the sake of travelin' gets old.
* GameTalk (www.gametalk.com) * GameFAQs (www.gamefaqs.com) * GamesRadar (http://radarnation.gamesradar.com/index.jspa) Sometimes I drop by EyesonFF/Anfiniti Network, too, but that's about it. -------------------- It's gonna be a glorious day I feel my luck can change |
