Configuring Antivirus Software

First question of what I'm sure will be name more.
Symantec Antivirus Software ver 8.1. How do I configure it to allow two certain files in a program folder on my C drive? Screnshots would be plush. Can anyone here help with that? Here Hamedo, I go here for a lot of my Symantec Antivirus Software help, sometimes it can be a pain!
