You don't need two Ninja/Sage anymore. All the classes are balanced so that that isn't necessary anymore. In fact, I recommend using a Devout and another spellcaster that specializes in one form of magic (whether it be White, Black, or Summoning), as Sages get less MP charges than more specialized classes, and can't use the most powerful Summon attacks anymore. And there are better attack jobs than the Ninja, since their weapons aren't too powerful and they can no longer equip all weapons and armor (although, they'd be worth it if you were willing to devote the time and effort needed to buy Shuriken in bulk).
The boss's first form is supposed to kill you. Then, Possible spoilers: highlight to view when you enter the World of Darkness, you have to kill the four crystal bosses there and talk to the four Warriors of Darkness. Then you can weaken the final boss. Also, Possible spoilers: highlight to view You can only get out of the World of Darkness until after the credits. Then, you can make a clear game data which starts out outside the Ancient's Maze when you load it up. -------------------- |

All the Dark World bosses have 99,999 HP, if that's what you're asking for. Ahriman is weak to wind, but the rest have no weaknesses.
Go to Gysahl's Inn (easternmost village on the Floating Continent), and go through a secret passage. The man there will give you information such as records (clear time, best damage, etc), and is effectively the Bestiary of the game. -------------------- |

This is just plain annoying. I get back from Arizona, and the stores in my town still haven't stocked up.

I don't believe that you can kill them. If you can have your fighters focus on Cloud of Darkness, she can go down fast and you don't have to worry about the tentacles.

There's one Ribbon in Eureka (in a hidden enclosure), and one in each of the four sections of the Dark World. You'll need to kill a Xande Clone for each of the four Dark World Ribbons, though. In the original, you could just cast Death and instant-kill them, but now that doesn't work. Thankfully, Xande isn't nearly as tough as he was before (no more Meteor, for instance), so just Haste up your fighters and hack away.

I have unlocked all classes(including the Onion Knight) and I can say, the Ninja and the Summoner are my favorite. I'm willing to train up to Job Level 99 for my Onion Knights.

I got this game on Saturday, and I'm pretty far already... I saved the fire crystal and changed a few of my character's jobs. I'm really impressed with this game, and FFIII DS is much better than the original, in my opinion. I'm glad they changed the characters...I don't like games that have characters who are like blank slates (FFI).

I like the characters but it sucks that they don't go so much into character development like they do with more recent Final Fantasies. Well, at least it's more consistent than the original one.
Possible spoilers: highlight to view At the end of the original III, one of the characters ends up with Princess Sara with no real explanation. It's actually quite hilarious. -------------------- "You underestimate the strength of a Jedi's mind, Brejik. I love the game but I agree there could be more character development however it would have probably interfered with the gameplay. The one things that is getting me is that lousy Iron Giant...oh I will get him I WILL GET HIM.

I left the states back in september, currently in Kuwait, working and crap.
I brought my DS lite with me, and boy am I happy I did. My g/f, who has been my main means of staying sane, she sent me the DS version the other day. Since I got it, I have been pretty much fiending to play it, but I work long hours. Finally got to sit down and play it for about 4 hours. Let me tell u, I am totally blown away!!! The beginning cinematics are so remarkable. i find myself watching it several times before I even started the game. needless to say, i am loving it. thief white mage red mage(switching to black, cause she can use bows too) warrior |

As you send mail to other players, you also allow your character to send mail to NPCs within the game. In the fourth letter that Topapa sends you, he gives you the quest to save some children from Ur in the Altar Cave(the cave from the beginning of the game) and you have to defeat some enemies(they're not tough). Upon defeating these enemies, a crystal shard drops, which allows your characters to change into the Onion Knight class.
