Terra, Celes, or Relm?

Terra has the most interesting story. But I'm not crazy about any of the female characters, especially Relm who's a complete waste of time (except that she has a relation to Shadow - that was interesting).

I like Celes the most. One reason is that her Runic ability is really useful, and another reason is because she's hot.

I have to say Terra. When my brothers and I first played the game in 94 we each had our favorite characters. I loved Terra before she was all powerful. I guess I can just relate to her story.

Celes. Even though Runic isn't as useful as Morph or even Sketch (in some situations), Celes deals nice damage and is one of three best magic users! She is one of the Four that I always use.
Personality-wise, she seems the most mature of the three. Terra is young, dreamy, and idealistic. Relm... she's quite... interesting. -------------------- Music is a mysterious thing... relm is cute but a little irritating and weak. terra i love, green hair rules. celes seems nice enough and that ex general blah works well

Deffinitly Celes, maybe its the music shes associated with or maybe its just the white knight kind of look but shes a pimp in my book.

I voted for Celes. I've never liked the precocious smart-alek girl characters in RPGs (Relm, Yuffie, etc.), so it was a decision between her and Terra for me. When I first played the game I was all over the boy/girl romance theme, and now what I like about her is that she doesn't play the damsel in distress. Even when Locke rescues her from South Figaro, she saves him in the boss fight in the cave. She saves the group inside the Magitek facility, nurses Cid back to health (in my game), and is the driving force behind reuniting the Returners in the WoR. Totally awesome.

It's a hard toss up between Terra and Celes, but I need to go with Terra. She has green hair, and is therefore far superior.
Seriously, though, she is, after all, the only one that can gain Ultima naturally. But it's a matter of personal preference, there really isn't any defining reason. -------------------- Could you repeat that? |
