Just recently i started playing FF5 and its really good, but i was using the guide and i was fighting ultros 2(at the opera) and it says he has 2550 Hp but i was marking down the damage i was doing t it went past 10k then i decided to train some more(i play on a emulator so i had a save file ready for just such an occasion), after another hour of fighting i went back and got the chainsaw(i forgot it before) and i killed him in 5 turns of a few chainsaw and 2 Bolt2, what i want to know is, does hp change? or is my Rom just on the fritz?

You probably added your numbers wrong or wrote them down wrong. Ultros' HP doesn't change to the best of my knowledge.

I've had weird things like this happen to me on Ultros 2, though, as well. I've noticed that sometimes he dies a lot faster than other times, but maybe it's just my varying levels...it just seems like there's a big discrepency between games, though.

oh well it dosent really matter though does it? i killed so good for me, now im trying to kill atma, but he keeps wiping out my guys which is really annoying, does anyone know a place where i can lvl fairly quick?

The second Ultros can appear to have more HP than it really does when it changes places. Each new place Ultros appears is really a different monster with its own HP rating.

well, i now have a new respect for gp rain and lennas morph ability, atma went down in 3 rounds which i consider good for a first time around) this game rocks...
also can flare be relfected? if so im gonna start using that more often, my rom messed up and now im in the middle of the fight with atma.. |
