I was just wondering if anyone would like to share friend codes for FF3 DS so we can all benefit from the...
1) OnionKnight class 2) Final Dungeon 3) Ultimate Weapons PM me or post here and we can start sharing -------------------- "A little tight, but the price was right" - Locke "Oh, what a Fuddy Duddy" - Relm "..." - Shadow "I'm a General, not some love starved twit" - Celes "Although Edgar showers his attention on the ladies, most are smart enough to pay him no attention. Oh! King Edgar!" - Figaro Castle Inn Attendant |

How does the friend code thing actually work? I won't have a DS until FFIII comes out, as I'm getting them together.

So far, mognet has been a real disappointment to me, but I suppose I wasn't really thinking of it as a "sidequest" type of thing and hoping more for a "communicate with friends" type of feature.
Which it really is NOT supposed to be. XP Anyhow, Locke!! I'm on the mognet, so please check your PMs for my code. I'm only about 10 hours into the game (I'm just having some fun playing with the jobs right now), but I'm assuming that the send-letters-to-friends sidequest is independent on the other person's progress or lack thereof (ie. you just need to send letters to people). |

Quote (Mu the Squirrel @ 25th November 2006 05:10) How does the friend code thing actually work? I won't have a DS until FFIII comes out, as I'm getting them together. I'm not too sure how this Friends Code works. I've attempted to send it to people, but I think they have to be mutually added. But, here goes my attempt to explain it: In every town there is a Moogle who connects you to the "MogNet" system which allows you to send mail to either NPC's (Cid, Sara, etc.), Faraway Friends (via WiFi) or Nearby Friends (via short-distance wireless). You don't actually write letters to the NPC's, you just send them mail, but, you can actually write letters to your friends, its just highly annoying to do so >< But, if you send 7 letters to your friends, the NPC's are able to communicate with you more often, and, as a result, you can open up more Side Quests. These side quests include *Spoiler Alert* 1. The OnionKnight Class 2. The Legendary Weapons (Equipment obtained after getting level 99 on a job class). and 3. A bonus dungeon And since I'm at the end of the game, I'm itching to get 'em -------------------- "A little tight, but the price was right" - Locke "Oh, what a Fuddy Duddy" - Relm "..." - Shadow "I'm a General, not some love starved twit" - Celes "Although Edgar showers his attention on the ladies, most are smart enough to pay him no attention.
