When i was at Solitary Island, you meet Cid etc. and in the walkthrough it showed if u gave him the fast fish he will survive.., but he died, nto that its really a big problem but i rather wud have him alive
I retried it again with Cid and keep giving him fast fishes but it didnt help.. so can anyone explain what i did wrong? or its fake in the walkthrough wich i wudnt think it is... and wasnt there a magicite on the beach of solitary island?? grtz -------------------- Vivi: 'How do you prove that you exist...? You have to catch and give him only "yummy fish" (the fast moving ones) to save him. Plot-wise it's pretty pointless, though.

Also I think you have to do it quickly. If you stand there for an hour and walk in without doing anything, he will be dead.

It takes a long time on the adjustment of your luck of having fast fish. Not all the time will you approach a fast fish, in that case, re-walk outside and back in (the world map) and go back to see if there are fast fish. Feed Cid fast fish continously until Cid gets out of bed and shows you the raft.

I agree that its pointless. I feel bad if I kill Cid, but I think its better to let him die. If he doesn't die, he just sits on that island calling everyone Celes for the rest of the game.
