Please, I need help! What I've been doing is: I've made everyone in my party Dragoons, I've equipped Luneth with 2 Wind Spears, a Dragon Helm, a Dragon mail, and Bronze Bracers. Arc is equipped with 2 Thunder Spears, a Dragon Helm, a Flame Mail, and Bronze Bracers. Refia is equipped with no weapons( I don't have enough gil to afford any more spears), a Leather Cap, Ice Armor, and Bronze Bracers. Ingus is just equipped with a Leather Cap and Bronze Bracers. Luneth is level 24, Arc is Level 23, Refia is level 24, and Ingus is level 23. My stategy is simple; I've just had everyone use Jump every turn. The reason I've had so much trouble with him is because of his Lightning attack. It's powerful enough to kill my entire party at once, and if he doesn't use it at the very beginning of the battle, he uses it at another time. Again, I need help, please!

i have not play the game, but my guess is simple, get some armor or accesory that absorbs or nullifies lightning, OR, cast reflect!

Actually, you can't get Reflect at this point in the game.

Umm, you seem to be underleveled for this portion of the game. Just abuse Jump and hope for the best, I guess. And go into the tower to collect additional thunder spears (the northeastern town if memory serves me) it should have 3 rooms on the top full of items for you.
Hope that helps. -------------------- "A little tight, but the price was right" - Locke "Oh, what a Fuddy Duddy" - Relm "..." - Shadow "I'm a General, not some love starved twit" - Celes "Although Edgar showers his attention on the ladies, most are smart enough to pay him no attention. Turn you party into Dragoons, equip them with dual Wind Spears, and Jump for the best. If you don't have the money to buy those spears, spend time fighting (while gaining experience on the side) or sell old equipment you no longer need. If you do that, make sure to keep the equipment from your jobs before you changed everyone into Dragoons.
Of course, at levels 28-30, this won't be necessary and you may not even need to use Dragoons at all with sufficient recovery. It also might help to level up to 25-27 or about. This post has been edited by Zeromus_X on 24th November 2006 21:41 -------------------- |
