Nintendo has announced that they are ceasing production of parts for the Nintendo and Super Nintendo. Â
Parts and repairs for the two will still be offered, but only while supplies last. Source: Games_Are_Fun /****/ Not the biggest piece of news in the world, let alone the gaming world. Â But it is still a little bit symbolic. Â If anyone still uses their NES or SNES (instead of emulating like many do nowadays), it might be wise to get any repairs if you need them (or get the parts so you can make the repairs yourself ![]() -------------------- "It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it." - Aristotle |

![]() ![]() I had no idea that they were still makeing replacement parts. I've been jury-rigging copper wire and third party parts for years now to keep my NES and SNES working. How exactly can one get a hold of these items? |

Anyone know a place where I can get some SNES controllers? Let's just say that mine are pretty dead.

I dunno what kind of chain game stores you have up in Canuckville, JLo, but all of the ones around here that sell used games also sell used components. If not, there's always eBay.
