Can anyone suggest some good SNES games?
Mine are definately Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III, and Super Mario Bros. -------------------- We, who cannot see into tomorrow, have no way of knowing... But... But... If you don't find dreams yourself... if you don't capture your ambitions... happiness won't just come to you. |

If you like platformers, ActRaiser 2 is really gorgeous. Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball is a really fun 2-player game.

Secret of Evermore
Soulblazer Ogre Battle Lagoon Tetris 2 Brainlord Once I find the rest of my collection I'll suggest some more. There was one game I remember reading about in a Nintendo Power forever and a day ago that I still want to find. There was something about a kid in a dungeon that found a paintbrush? I wish I knew more than that. -------------------- ..DDR..Maine.. ..Hikaroo-chan no Deviantart.. <Tiddles> And I love how people suggest "Why not call it my great name?????" when their name is clearly the worst thing ever. <Tiddles> "How about ; Mozilla Xplorer & Mozilla Xpress." <Tiddles> How about you die in a fire? |

Any MegaMan title that came out on the SNES.
Same goes for Castlevania. Chrono Trigger. Super Mario Bros Well, generally, what they said -------------------- "I fell off the mountain of words at around the 10,000ft mark. Just calling something "abandonware" because it's no longer circulated or supported by its copyright holders doesn't mean that it's legal to download it. In order for something to truly be abandonware, the copyright holders have to renounce their right to the intellectual property and officially release it to the public domain. As far as I know, that hasn't happened with a single game that's been mentioned here. -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |

I did a list of this somewhere else.
Okay, so it's not exactly the same (best vs. favorite), so I'll make a list here. SMW1 SMW2: YI SMW3:SMRPG: LotSS LoZ: aLttP SMet SMK (Super Mario Kart, not any Mortal Kombat nonsense) DKC DKC2 FFV (SNES PLZ) FFVI CT and probably some more I can't remember now Honorable mentions: Earthbound DracXX SCvIV FFIV and probably more that I can't remember now By the way, why hasn't this been moved to General Gaming Chat yet? Edit Quote (Kimono=^-^=Kitsune @ 23rd October 2006 12:39) Quote (Barrylocke @ 23rd October 2006 17:29) That's what ROMs are for! That's what eBay and NOT STEALING is for! One of the main reason ROMs are distributed is that the games are no longer available on a mainstream commercial basis. If SNES games were still in stores, I (and I'm sure many other people here would agree) would be very willing to go buy a hard copy. However, especially for rarer and/or more "classic" games (such as Mega Man X2 or Super Mario RPG), there are fewer of them going around, and the ones that are still floating around are slowly being gobbled up by collectors or broken, and I'd also feel bad to deprive a fellow gamer of a really great game in some cases.
