Ok what battle was everyone's favorite in the game. You know the one you look forward to each time you play the game over and over again. Mine was the Ultros battle inside the Opera House. The acting and music were great, and the fact the Locke had to save Celes (again  -_-) was awesome.

I liked the battle against Atma Weapon. I'm not really sure why, but I find him (and his counterpart) interesting.

Also, I liked the battle against the three goddesses. I was half expecting magic being flung around and party members turned into espers during that battle.  ^_^

phunbaba, doom gaze and the 8 dragons. taking out mythical beasts is fun stuff.

i like knocking off the dragons one by one like you have to and making phunbaba run off and have his phun elsewhere, but i always liked the doom gaze battle and i dont really know why... i just like the surprise you get when he finds you.

I always looked forward to the first Atma Weapon the most, mostly because the cool music. ^_^ I also looked forward to meeting his second form, the (beatable) Guardian, MagiMaster, and Kefka himself (him and the tower of monsters), whose music just plain rocks. :nods:

I'm weird, but I look forward to stomping Wrex Soul into hell.  Agh, I'm still angered at the time I spent 4 hours fighting him without X-Zone and ended up giving up.

The final tower.  Basically because of the music in that part.  Dancing Mad is one of the best pieces of VG music I've ever heard.

I guess I like the fight against two of the Goddesses.  (not the one that casts that condemn/zombie spell on everyone)  Poltergiest (the red one) and Doom (the dark blue one) both were a pretty good fight.  Had to pull out all the stops.

Leo vs. Kefka.  Leo really rocks.  He ought to make a cameo in another game or something.

I agree with DarkPaladin on this. I especially liked "The battle for Narshe" There I had a "BIG" versatile (hope it's the right word) "army" that I just put together from three differrent story threads. It's nice to see what's happening to everybody for a change, not just the lead guy/girl. But FF6 doesn't have an actual "lead" does it. (I like everybody In it :D )

I have to agree with Maduin...the battle for Narshe was really fun because all the three separate storylines came together, sort of put their differences aside, knowing that they had to win, and had an epic battle of sorts.  It was really cool, and it had just the right amount of difficulty.

I usually prefer one on one battles or battles with rivals.

Sabin VS Vargas Silly little Vargas copped it sweet when he was pummelled by Sabin.

Leo VS Kefka Honestly Leo was the winner, Kefka only won because well the game had to go on.

Terra VS Phunbaba Even though she had allies it was Terra who was the stand out in the final Fight against Phunbaba I always enjoy seeing that fat demon bite the dust.

Party VS Wrexsoul Well he had me confused for a bit then got his butt handed to him.

Party VS MagiMaster I don't like being restricted to magic alone and against the MagiMaster to see him helpless in a beserk state is his just derserve after suffering on that tower.

Party VS Kefka The final battle climatic and all fun.

Battle for Narshe really sets the tone for a showdown and brings alot of cool characters together.

The Narshe Battle... or Esperoids or whatever you call them (the big, 3-story tower of monsters). The music was perfect in both settings.   ^_^

I think the greatest battle in this game is when you run into a brachosaur in the question mark forest for the first time. Chances are the only chance you have of beating him is vanish, x-zone and your REALLY fightin for your life.

My favorite was the battle between the Moogles vs. Narshe guards.  Its not only fun, but its cool to see all the different weapons each Moogle uses.

the one thing i hate about this game is that it has no extra-challenging side quest bosses.  my fave fight is prolly poltergeist because he looks cool.

I have two favorites:  the battle with Ultros in the Opera house, and the final battle with Kefka (those are not in any particular order).  The opera scene is just one of the coolest in the history of video games.  And the final battle....  heh heh... god, I wanted to kill Kefka by the end of the game.  Plus, Dancing Mad is my favorite final battle theme.

My favorite battle is the battle for Narshe and the battles in the camp where you have to help out Cyan with Sabin (and Shadow if you got him).  The battle for Narshe is still a gamble for me because I never know how to organize my teams in the most efficient manner (though I always win so I suppose it's irrelevant).

Battiling Ultros on the airship. It's just so good to know you won't have to battle him again!

By the way, if you manage to kill Ultros in a single shot on the Airship (like my level 99 Terra smacking him with the Atma Weapon), you don't fight Chupon.  You go straight to the Floting Continent.  :E )

I like the Imperial Base sceneario, Kefka's Tower (especially the end), the Floating Continent, and the Opera House in the WOB.  Zozo in WOB is kinda 'fun' too.

Seriously? Bah, I don't feel like levelling up enough to be able to do that. That's pretty cool though, hehe.

I likes Doom Gaze and Tritoch. Tritoch was fun to beat with Insane Fire attacks. And the regular boss theme isnt playing, it's the Esper theme.

I would say my favorite would either be Ultros because he is so funny.  Escpecially when you fight him when you have Relm in your party and he calls him self Uncle Ulty (correct me if I'm wrong there not sure).  Or Doom Gaze because it seems whenever I fought it was when I wasn't prepared or that most of my guys could be affected by Doom 5.  So annoying.

My favorite battle would definitly have to be against the MagiMaster, I love the sheer challange of not using physical attacks and trying to get strong enough that i can survive the ultima blast without life 3.

I love the two battles where you can steal your opponent's clothing.  During the sequence when Locke is off on his own, and he later comes upon Celes.
In order to get to certain places in the town, you had to steal the clothing of certain individuals, in order to pass off as one.
Just the fact that the almost-naked man standing there when you steal his clothes, and running away to boot.

       I love it!
