well, september 5th is the day. that's right, the day many football fans have waited for since February 5th {the day after the super bowl}. It's almost kickoff time! can i hear a "w00t w00t!!" ?

1) who is/are your team(s)?
2) how far do you think they will go?
3) do you think the patriots can have as lucky of a season as they did last year and win it... again?

I have two teams. Tampa Bay Buccaneers {NFC} and Miami Dolphins {AFC}. {Big w00t! for the Fish!}
With Jon Gruden leading TB, they'll probably make it to the NFC Championship but i do not forsee them making it to the super bowl. The Dolphins, however, Jay Fiedler has been getting better and better every year. mookie would wuv to see his beloved Fish in the Super Bowl.
And, no, i think the Pats were EXTREMELY lucky with that "tuck rule" thing and how it wasn't a fumble. Tom Brady is good, but he won't make it to the SB again.

1) I keep an eye on three teams. New York Giants, St. Louis Rams <-- [keeping in mind that i've liked them before they were winners :p], and the Seattle Seahawks. It used to be 2 NFC teams and one AFC, but since they moved Seattle to the NFC, now all three of them are in the NFC.  -_-

2) The Giants should go into the playoffs. Kerry Collins to Ryan Shockey will be a good combo. The Seahawks hopes are dwindling since Trent Dilfer was injured. And the Rams practically made no major changes so, depending on their schedule, they should do well again this year

3) No, I don't believe the Patriots can win it again. Their is no team right now that can fullfil a dynasty in the football world like the Steelers did in the 70's and the Cowboys did in the mid 90's

1. Da Bears. 13-3 was no fluke. So far the first two preseason games, the D has completely dominated the first quarters.

2. I don't forsee 13-3 again, playing down in Champaign with a brutal schedule. But I think 10-6 is a good bet, giving them a wild card.

3. Pffff. I'll be impressed if they go 8-8.

1. FISH! The Dolphins have always been my favorites. I also like the Bears, Seahawks, and Eagles, for no apparent reason.

2. I think at least one of these teams will go pretty far. Bears and Dolphins may be contenders.

3. No way. They're goin down.

1. Go BEARS!!! I was born during the magical 1985 season, and my Dad is a huge Bears fan, so naturally I'm a monster Bears fan.
If only the Super Fans were still among us. -_-

2. Defense = overpowering. Ray Lewis? Give me a break, Brian Urlacher is the most dominant middle linebacker the league has seen in a while. The best linebacker core in the league, (especially now with Mike Caldwell to sup in as a 4th man), a very promising secondary, as well as the big men, Washington and Traylor.
Offense will be much better this year. With Marcus Robinson back and with Booker in previous year form, they should finally be somewhat of a passing threat. Also, they've got the offensive rookie of the year in Anthony Thomas at running back.
I will say 12-4 or 11-5. If they can beat the Packers this season, they will own the division. Monday night vs. the Pack and later against the Rams are gonna be great games. Figures that they'd play the Dolphins in the identical spot they did in '85 on Monday night towards the end of the season.

3. No. Not a chance. They'll be wild card at best possible scenario. I don't they'll even be contenders for the division.

The clouds ran away, opened up the sky
And one by one I watched every constellation die
And there I was frozen, standing in my backyard
Face to face, eye to eye, staring at the last star
I should've known, walked all the way home
To find that she wasn't here, I'm still all alone

My teams are simple.

The Oakland Raiders: They would have gone all the way last season if they didn't have to play New England during a freaking snow storm, with high winds. Sure I sound like a sore loser, but come on! PATRIOTS SUCK!

I as for other teams, The Giants, I used to be the biggest Denver Bronco fan until like two years ago, and The San Fran 49ers baby. Embarassing? Yes. But hey, if a team as crappy as the New England Patriots can pull it off...who knows?
