Hello,
i've been coding for about 2 months now and want to create a Final Fantasy style Flash Game in Flash 8. So far, so good. My plan is to take some of the enemies found in FF7 or 8 and implement them in to the game (with Swift raster rendering if anyone of you is familar with 3d animation, you may know this from Murloc RPG, also a great Flashfame). When I watched this site, I found some pictures of enemies with a grey single coloured background, so I thought there might be a way to watch the models with an external editor (I only need to rip a few frames to make a fluid movement sequence). Does anyone of you know if there's a possibility to do that or where I can search for more infromation ? It would help me a lot ... Thanx |

The software we used to do those images is Leviathan. To use it you need the software and also some files from the FF7 PC version. I can't recall if it does animation or just shows static assemblies of the polys.
Can't help you with FF8, sorry. -------------------- "To create something great, you need the means to make a lot of really bad crap." - Kevin Kelly Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN? |

You could try the forums on Qhimm.com - it's digging through there that we found Leviathan and the other tools we used.
Best of luck with the game. |
