There are some quite heart wrenching parts in most of the games. But I only really cried when I saw how bad FFX-2 was after $6 in renting it.

With Final Fantasy VII I did
Possible spoilers: highlight to view not cry but nearly busted a gut laughing when Aeris died. I was probably the only one rooting for Sephiroth in that instance. FF7, FF9, KH, FFX:
Possible spoilers: highlight to view i didnt cry when aeris died. i spent hours trying to get her out of my party at the temple. she was kinda useless to me. i think the the only time i cried was 1) when Blank went cold (i was really little....i suppose) and when he came back 2) during the Kingdom hearts ending. you finally see them together then WHAM! separrated again 3) i did not cry during the FFX ending ( i laughed when yuna fell to the floor and when tidus 'high-fived' his dad. i just thought to myself 'i finally got a chick to like me' and 'who hit that?! dats right!') so that was funny 4) with laughter when i saw....this! http://point.worldtel.net.pk/wallpaper/Fan...lls%20Rinoa.jpg This post has been edited by Neal on 26th August 2006 20:29 -------------------- Aujourdhui a commence avec toi. |

Alittle off topic...but I'll tell you what. The first time I beat Chrono Trigger, which was about 10 years ago, I cried like a girl for some reason. I think it was the thought that I'd never get to see any of the characters again. 'Cause you know...it shows all of them living happily etc...

FFX:
Possible spoilers: highlight to view The entire ending sequence makes me cry every single time. Like Neal said earlier up, Yuna whistling on the pier is a sad moment, but the part that really gets me in tears is when Yuna tries to embrace Tidus and ends up stumbling right through him. Her speech about rebuilding but remembering the sacrifices is also fairly moving. -------------------- Veni, vidi, dormivi. |

FFIV -
Possible spoilers: highlight to view When the twins turned themselves to stone and when Tellah died. I also teared up a bit when Yang sacrificed himself to save the dwarves in the tower of Babel in the underworld. FFVI - Possible spoilers: highlight to view Locke's scene with Rachel in Kohlingen and Celes's suicide attempt. FFVII - Possible spoilers: highlight to view Red XIII and Seto. Also, Aerith's death scene, but to a lesser extent because I already knew it was going to happen. -------------------- Come with me so I can show you how to live Burning the candle at both ends I’m gripping at the walls around me Don’t complicate it I’m addicted to this life I’ll be your token of attention All my lies come down to this -Orgy, "Beautiful Disgrace" |

A lot of the FF games have made me cry at some point:
FFVI- Possible spoilers: highlight to view Opera house scene(beautiful music and touching lyrics), Celes' fight with Locke(I always play as Locke, so it always saddens me. Maybe I'm just staying in character when I'm reading the lines. I love doing that, btw. Do it with all the games!) When Celes finds Locke's bandanna in WoR, Celes' "sacrifice" in Vector FFVII- Possible spoilers: highlight to view Aeris' death, Cloud's illness(I hate to see Tifa sad like that) FFVIII- Possible spoilers: highlight to view The ending really got me! When Squall is looking for Rinoa, but can't find her because he is in a different time definitely got me misty-eyed. After all, who wouldn't wanna find a girl that hot (and I'm referencing guys for this one)? FFX- Possible spoilers: highlight to view The "Suteki da ne" scene really hit home. The music and scenery were absolutely gorgeous. Plus, I hate seein' pretty girls cry, 'cause then I do, too. Also, when Yuna tells Tidus "I love you," I couldn't help but cry over that. One of the reasons I play these games so much is for the love stories. They can really make a sensitive man outta ya. *sniff-sniff* -------------------- One to be born from a dragon hoisting the light and the dark arises high up in the sky to the still land.
