Just curious, how does everyone feel about the B button dash option in FFIV Advance? Do you keep it turned on or off?
Personally, I keep it off because its just too damn fast for me, I only hold B in open areas. But what I'm most curious about is, do you encounter enemies with the same frequency when you're dashing? Or if you dash all the way through a dungeon, will you encounter fewer enemies than you normally would? |

It's the same random chance that you would encounter enemies either walking regularly or dashing with the finger on the B button.

That, and that they're going to do this for all the remakes. It doesn't actually detract from the challenge of the game (s), it just makes them alot faster.

(Jost got the game today and I loooove it!*on GBA*)
I turn it off so I can hold the B button actually, I fine just moving the D-Pad is too boring. -------------------- Kel'Thuzad: She is persistent. Reminds me of you, death knight. Arthas:Shut up you damned ghost. -Warcraft III Kel'thuzad comparing Arthas and Sylvanas Windrunner. |

I leave it off because this game wasn't meant for it. When you dash like that, it makes you take too many extra steps, and this is one of those games where step-counting is an issue.

I walk when I need to walk and run when I need to run.
