I was just wondering is there any real reason to be picked at Don Corneo mansion is there a benifit to be picked or what?

the only thing i can think of is that behind his bed, there's an item. something like a Hyper or Tranquilizer. but, by getting picked, you forfeit battling his lackeys. so, it's up to you. other than that, absolutely no reason, whatsoever.

Cloud gets the funniest scene of all, but if you're a stickler for items, you should go the Scotch-and-Kotch route to get all of them. You can pick up the Hyper regardless of who's chosen.

Actually, who gets picked also affects who you go on the Gold Saucer date with.

i'm not sure if this is possible but, why not try getting aires picked, i'v never checked if you can do it but that'd be a much cooler thing to see than cloud being picked.

If you want to do the Barret date you have to get Cloud picked for that killer line. You can get the Hyper regardless of who gets picked.
