How many people have taken the time to play final fantasy 6 without taking time to level up. its been so long since i've played without hacking it or using the "spot" that i forgot how hard it actually is.

Well I've done an LLg, but i relied heavily on Gau, so in my current LLg, I hacked made moogle charm equippable by everyone, and made everyone start with it. in this challenge i'm also restricting Gau from myself. I still use the vedt to learn spells though., Very few ensmies I run into.

I generally rush through the game without any real leveling (usually clear it in the 30s), but I've never done an actual low level challenge.

I have been doing quite of few LLG lately, and I am trying to find a different character to rely on than Locke. I rely on Locke more than any other character because of his steal ability and I steal from enemies, run away, and sell the items for gil. Since you can't win battles, unless you are already to the veldt, but before he is a must and still a must, IMO. So, I do more LLG games than regular games.

Going on the Veldt is another Gil-raising strategy I've heard of, since you don't gain any experience points on the Veldt.
Of course it takes a really long time. -------------------- |

I think the only "leveling" I ever did wasn't to level up, but to learn magic.
I like the way FFVI is designed because you don't have to powerlevel. I consider it a flaw in a game if you do have to powerlevel at some point in order to get on with the game (coughcoughPokémonbeforeEliteFourcoughcough). -------------------- Check the "What games are you playing at the moment?" thread for updates on what I've been playing.
