Certain things don't look quite right. Maybe it's the way you cut it and layed it out, but I'd say, compared to the source, much of his body kind of shrunk? Perhaps if you had provided a bigger and/or clearer image, I might have commented on it more.

Do you have a scanner? If you don't (because it looks like you took a photo of the piece), then I'd suggest going out to get one. They're reasonably priced.
Eh, it's okay. It seems...'stretched' for lack of a better word. But at least you can draw faces! ![]() This post has been edited by Zeromus_X on 23rd July 2006 07:36 -------------------- |

it's definately hard to see specific details fo a picture without seeing a larger images, or at least one the same size as the original source.

Looks good. However I'm no great artist but I can draw pretty good when I'm copying something. Keep practising and maybe you will get so good that you copy from your imagination like most good artists on this site. You've got potential.

It looks bunched together but i like the Lion Heart.
Just keep on practicing and you'll be an awesome artist. But he's holding the blade in a "weird" way I fine. -------------------- Kel'Thuzad: She is persistent. Reminds me of you, death knight. Arthas:Shut up you damned ghost. -Warcraft III Kel'thuzad comparing Arthas and Sylvanas Windrunner. |

The quality of the posted picture is crappy, so it's hard to tell how good the actual art is.

Sorry, but it sucks. Sorry to offend, but I think your friends fooled you for being an artist. It's so hard to see and the quality isn't very appropriate for a drawing. Photographing artwork tends to ruin the result. Go with scanners next time

Amano's style isn't even sketchy anymore. I was talking about the face.

I think Zell_Dincht is better at rough art like pop and not very good at the detail department. Keep it up though!
![]() How long did it take you to draw this, I must admit it does look quite rushed. |

No complaints here. It's not like I could do any better. But if you want suggestions, the drawing seems a tad..light, a problem with the pencil or some such thing. My advice is that if you are going to use a pencil, make sure its nice and sharp. But like I said, I can't draw to save my life.

I can see one bad thing in this. It's Squall. Otherwise it's too hard to see for and to comment in any way.
I think you SHOULD scan it rather than take a photo and don't mind people who say "it sucks 'cause it's sketchy" - everybody learns and improves. Do more and you'll do better, but next time, scan it. It's kinda weird, but when I look at your drawing, it's screaming "AMANO!" in my face. It's looks like the old Amano artwork, which I don't get because you were copying the 3D model.
Okay, my critique: Pretty Good. Esspecially for a colored piece. The only thing is, you have my same problem. The both of us are no good at drawing hands. Also, his hair seems a bit flat... but that might be my eyes playing tricks on me... because it looks like you took a photo of your art rather than scan it, so it's kind of hard to see. If you get that piece scanned, I'd be able to give you more tips. But for now, work on hands.
