THanks.

As for the chocobos, I actually quite enjoy breeding and racing chocobos, one of my favorite part of the game.

I think the first time I did the breeding i got a gold chocobo in a day and half, i spent like four hours walking in and out of th efarm tryin gto get a black one, that was annoying.

Anyways im taking it slow and enjoying the game as I go. I'm just about to go to the second mission at the sector 5 reactor.

Graphics arent as grand as I remember them, but its got a warm comforting familiar feel so I dont care.

I personally was not a big fan of racind or breeding chocobos.

Now that you mention it, it HAS been a long time since I've played good ol' VII. I miss it's characters (well, some of 'em), it's terrible-yet-amazing graphics, and, to controdict statements I've said before, it's plot. under further review, i don't think it's stupid.

S class is always fun. I had a harder time racing cause i didnt improbve any of the parents stats, just the gold chocobo baby, but it still wasnt that bad.(i was like 10 or 11) So if I actually buy a lot of greens to raise all the generations, Ill have an unstoppable chocoobo.

On the note of saving with epxs or whatever its called.

Turns out any time a save states activated while I have the program on will result in losing my memory card data when I exit. THe solution? Well first of all, I save the actual game after Ive taken the save state. THen Before I shut down the program, i switch my memory card with data on it for a temporary place holder memory card. THen when I reload the program, i switch the card back, datas still there, andI can fgool around with save states. YAY!

Although its gonna be really confusing if I start loading other games, SO ill assign each specific game a memory card, and the second one will just be a placeholder.

Sounds a bit risky to me, a PS1/2 would be far more reliable.

You see the funny thing is, Im not supposed to play video games in the first place. So the only way I really get to play is with emulators. And now that im able to play my favorite game, Im extremely happy and content. And when I get bnored with this, Ill play FF9.

Im just abou tto start my favorite section og the game. Wall market. See ya all tommorow if im not out after ive recovered from this cold.

just a point to make....wouldnt you posting that you downloaded the game constitute illegal content......just an observation.....

]if i were you i would just go buy a copy....they really arent THAT expensive prolly between $25-$50, and then you prolly wont have the problem of the 2nd disc crashing on you....cause i know that some downloaded copies of FF7 have that problem.....

but do what you gotta do and dont say that people didnt warn you

Well Im aalready at icicle inn, and I've had no problems so far, except speed issues but thats cause its a crappy laptop im playing it on.

If I misunderstood Im sorry. I just thought since everyone has conversations about emulation and rom hacking that it was ok to talk about it as long as you didnt reveal where you get it. Plus theres rom hacks on the main page. But if it is against the rules, will any mods kindly close this thread.

I'm pretty sure it's just against the rules to ask or distribute them here. It isn't like you're PMing random members asking 'where can I get teh FFVII ROM plz k thx'.

Who are you using? smile.gif

Well, I actually switch my party around a lot. Right now, Im using Cloud, Barret, and Cid. But my favorite party to use is Cloud, Vincent and either Red XIII or Yuffie as the third member.

THe only character I NEVER use is cait sith, I dont know, I just dont like him. And with all the mind sources Ive used Yuffie or vincent can easily outmage cait sith.

Vincent is my favorite character, his limit breaks are uber powerful for most of the game. Yuffie's just balanced out, and to tell the truth, id rather have Red XIII then cloud, since cloud's pretty much insane.

Does anyone remember if your forced to have Tifa in your party while Cloud's out of commision.

Yes, you are forced to have Tifa and Cid in your party at a point in the game.
