Great Gospel is good enough that I've used a GS to put Aeris back in my party for the Emerald/Ruby weapon fights. I've never managed to beat either one without cheating in that way, either.

Chaos with Omnislash and Highwind following close behind. Gotta love transforming into the Beast ph34r.gif

That's for the in-game limits. My favourite personally is Omnislash Version 5 from Advent Children. *drool* Beautiful.

Great Gospel can be a real life saver. It fully restores the party's HP and MP and makes everyone temporarily invincible. The only downside is that Aeris dies before you have a chance to use this Limit Break on Ruby and Emerald.

I voted Omnislash because it looks great and takes brilliant damage. You also feel very deserved to have it because the Battle Square can take quite long.

Which Limit Break hits the most by the way?

My heart has changed since I last voted on a topic like this one. Sorry Vincent, Chaos has fallen from grace happy.gif My new favorite is Great Gospel. Seriously helpful. Of course, it's also annoying, because, by the time you're able to get it, you're past all the bosses that you really could've used it on. The next really difficult boss is further down the line than Aerith will ever see. And, you'll probably only get to use it once or twice before...well, you know. But still, the angels are cute.

I like Chaos. I used him a fair amount in the Battle Arena when I was going to pick up Omnislash, and he kicked a considerable amount of ass.

I like Highwind and Omnislash as well, but will probably give Highwind the nod just because Cid seemed to reach his limit faster, so I was able to use it more often.

As for in-game use, the only choice is OmniSlash.
As for appearance, Cosmo Memory.

Great Gospel. No contest. It's really useful, and it's the only thing that's ever made the Demon Gate battle easy for me.

Earth Rave for me, although Doom of the Living is nipping at its heals in second place. Always a big fan of melee attacks, but felt Omnislash was just overkill. Yawn!

Cloud's limits are definately bad-ass, but I'd vote for Slots. Not very reliable, no, but I dig the randomness. Great Gospel, all of Tifa's limits, and Chaos get honorable mentions.

I liked the limit that the duder had in Midgar, at the little training complex where Cloud taught that kid how to build up his rage and unleash hell like Russel Crowe on a hotel attendant.

But in all seriousness, the first time I saw omnislash it was during the end cutscene, and this made me replay the game so I could use it more regularly, it's kinda crazy that this one move made me donate an extra 30 hours or so to this videogame.

I know this may seem kind of strange. But my favorite limit is Braver. I just like the way it looks. Simple yet cool.

Then again Ive never seen any of the ultimate limit breaks. Except omnislash in the end, but i cant remember what it was like.

ive reconsidered.

Omnislash because it makes fight the second JENOVA in the city of ancients a breeze. (yes you can get it that early. you can get it as soon as you go to Gold Saucer for the second time for the keystone. try it!)

I remember voting in another poll identical to this... As before, I'm voting Slots because it's fun and lethal. Also you either love it when you get the Cat or hate it when you narrowly miss it. What other limit can you honestly say has the characteristics of a relationship?

You don't. It's basically a missile strike more than an attack by the Highwind. Definatly not one of the top five limits.
