Wow, the Best FF Intros thread really changed things up for me. Now I'm
alternating between FFTactics, FFIX, and WoW.

Did anyone else enjoy GuildWars? And if FFXI were free, would you play it?
Would you play it if you could join for free if you joined up with a party (ie,
all three or four friends sign-up at once) and there were more in-game ads?
And by sign-at-once, agree that your account could only be logged-on if all
members of your party were present? Hence the sign-up together as group.
More ad-based hoops to jump through, like name-brand items (Timberland
gear for Rangers; Johnson&Johnson potions; Pfizer phoenix-downs) and
sponsored locations [Starbucks HP recovery; Amazon auction-houses). I
really wish it was like an easier CrystalChronicles, a personal mmo, just like
table-top gaming with some personal exclusiveness. I'd totally deal with all
merchandise plugs if gameplay were made free. Remember when they revived
everyone's characters for another free trial? That rocked.

Still muddling through Kingdom Hearts 2, myself. Great game, though with work and all I'm only able to play it every once in awhile. I occasionally mix my gaming nights up with some MKD or Shaolin Monks - you know, just in case I get an itch that only the occasional severed head can scratch. biggrin.gif

Funny you should ask that, because I was one of the few who was fortunate enough to Beta-test number #11. Great game, from the little I've played of it. And yeah, I'm also a GW head. That one makes very an awesome Friday night!

I think that, like the easy pick-up of a quick GuildWars game, the FinalFantasy mmo
would have caught on more if it wasn't a traditional mmo. BaneKing is right: one has
to become attached to an mmo, and it appeals to gamers who play them to the
exclusion of all other games. But FinalFantasy gamers are fore-most single-player
fans; if there's one reason I still have GuildWars installed, it's because I don't have
to devote 'maintenance' time to it to keep current, unlike another hugely popular
mmo. Mmo gaming one night a week like LotharGoldfist mentioned? Wouldn't it have
been sw33t to have done that with FFXI?

PoPoLoCrois for PSP, not a bad game at all.

BACK FROM SEA, WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I cant wait to get Tekken for PSP, I pawned off all my other consoles so now all I have is this little multimedia monster that hides under my bed, collects baseball cards, and pees in apple juice (ode to Howie Mandel).

I wonder if anyone gets that joke attempt...

EDIT: Oh yeah, and best FF Intro? FFVIII hands down.

I just Recently started playing Live a Live. And it is a very fun game, I'm loving the battle system right now, Kind of a miz between turn-based and RTS, resulting in a pseudo tactical RPG. finished the Kung-Fu, Near-future, and present chapters. Saving for what i think I'll like best the last. the old west chapter or prehistoric.
Currently the storyline seems confusing, and ceretain aspects of the near-future was strange, but so far the game has been exceptionally fun. Rather Versatile.

FFTA has claimed my soul again, too. As frustrating as it is at times (rotate maps!),
it's still my reason for the SP (and the GameboyPlayer on my cube). It's down to at
most $7 used in game stores.

I just bought X-Men Legends II, after having beaten ToS for the second time and Metroid Fusion with 100%. I must say, I am very entertained and pleased with the game. Nothing is better than just destroying everything with Juggernaut and Colossus. They are freakin tanks.

And, of course, using the other characters is fun, too, but still doesn't compare with the Juggernaut. thumbup.gif

Command & Conquer: Red Alert, Soviet campaign. One of my friends recently got C&C: First Decade, which inspired me to take out my old copy of RA and play through it again. Had to tweak it some to get it to run on my computer, though.

New Super Mario Bros.

Still playing Advance Wars: Dual Strike. I usually play it when I'm away from home.

Working on another playthrough of FF6.

Currently:

Final Fantasy Tactics (the awesomness)

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (the awesomness...advanced)

Final Fantasy VII (solo-KITTEN SITH challenge)

Megaman X Collection

I borrowed it from a friend. You can imagine the overwhelming feeling I had only playing and beating the first one and barely playing the second on the SNES.

On hold:

Final Fantasy V SCC (I might get back to it in awhile)

Final Fantasy X NSG challenge (meh, maybe some other time)

Final Fantasy X-2 (Ironically the story was actually heating up)

That's all for now.

Right now I'm playing Untold Legends: BotB for PSP as well as Mega Man: Powered Up, also for PSP. On PC I'm playing Fate, which I hear is very much like Diablo with better graphics though I can't draw anymore comparisons than that as I've never played Diablo.

I'm also playing FFTA for GBA (ROM. Shhhhhhhhh!!!!!) off and on.
