I have been wondering if there are any ways to get "Lucky 7's" besides the chance that you will randomaly get that amount of hp from damage is there any other ways?

when fighting emerald weapon, have 1 person with only 2 pieces of materia equipped and have 9999 hp when emerald does Aire Tan Storm or what ever. the attack does 1111 per materia i believe

even if, emerald would have probably attacked by then
you'd have to keep on curing to try and keep 9999 by the time he uses aire tir dam (whatever it is). THe most accurate method is careful planning with the cat's bell
takes a while, but it is the most sure fire method

I've given out this tip before, but here goes...

1) Make sure you have over 7777 HP.
2) Get into a battle and kill all the monsters apart from one.
3) Manipulate that monster to make sure it doesn’t do anything in the battle.
4) Whoever you want to have the lucky 7s effect you must deplete his/hers life to 154 or under. You don’t need all three to have the lucky 7s effect because it won’t take more damage than around 500,000 HP. When your characters HP gets very low keep casting one of the Demi spells or laser (same effect as Demi 2 ) on that character so you don’t deplete their life to 0.
5) Save the game.
6) Next you must get the lucky 7s character to have exactly 154 HP. Equip him/her with the Cat’s Bell (won at Gold Saucer after winning a chocobo race) and let him/her walk around (giving you 2 HP with each step) until you have 154 HP.
7) Save the game.
8) Now you must get into another battle. Give a character who isn’t getting the lucky 7s effect a master cover materia. The best place to go is to cactuar island because there is usually only one cactuar and they’re easy to manipulate. Once you’re in battle manipulate the cactuar as fast as you can and cast Demi 2 or laser on the lucky 7s character. You should then have 77 HP.
9) Go to the menu and use 15 Hi-Potions and 2 Potions on the lucky 7s character and they will have 7777 HP.
10) Save the game.

So if i had an even number amount of hp under 154 then used cats bell it would do the same thing??

eg. 90 hp then +2 for every step till 154 then using demi 2??

Yeah whatever works for you mate. As long as you have 154 HP before useing Demi 2 to put whoever on 77HP.

Having a ready made Lucky 7 is very handy to start the battle against the likes of Emerald WEAPON.

1) Fight a weak enemy

2) Cast mini on said enemy

3) Manipulate said enemy

4) Make sure the character you want to perform Lucky 7's has a max HP of more than 7777 and a current HP of less than 7777

5) Now, attack said character until the last two digits of his HP are 77

6) Kill off enemy

7) Use restorative items to reach 7677

8) Whenever you want to enter Lucky 7's Mode, use a potion

Ohh not as good as my tip mate. Mine is much more reliable and less time consuming. And if you get hit before using the potion you're not gonna be very happy are you?

The Adamantamai (don't know if the name is the same in the English version, it's a giant turtle that can be found at the beach around Wutai) does only attack you if you don't attack it, so if you want to use that method with the mini spell you can go into a fight with an Adamantamai and leave out that manipulation.

Actually, Kane's tip sounds a lot more reliable to me. For one thing, it involves less random preparation. It's also a shorter way of achieving the same thing your method does.

Kane's idea does seem easier, I"ll have to try that, but of course i'll speed it up by having the allies attack the character first, because 8000HP- 1 damage every time would take a very long time.

Forgot about attacks only takin 1 when you're in a mini status (dur). Actually that is a very good idea and I take back what I said. The only thing I would change is, is that when I have 77 HP I would use 15 Hi-Potions and 2 Potions to go straight to 7777 HP. Don't find the using potion in battle thing too reliable.

Sorry about that dude Very good tip! worth using blush.gif

They're both tedious. The first method is far more tolerable though.

Anyway, I've never bothered with 'forcing' Lucky 7s, though I have gotten it by chance before. It was pretty neat...well, it was against Bizzaro Seph, and then I had to battle Safer Seph, with 1 HP, but it was still pretty awesome.

Does anyone know how to customize their Marteia to 7777HP.

Prefebly starting from 9999HP so first equiping a HP Plus Materia but you don't have to. I don't know if this is possible because I know Square made a lot of effort to prevent easy access to the Lucky 7s.

well you could get 9999 hp then equip 2 -10% materia on to get 8099.19 hp(i think). then put on a -2% to get 7937.2062 hp. then put on 1 more -2% materia to get....bah bah bah da!!!!!! 7778.462076 hp!

i think

someone try this out. i want to know if im good at math. then i guess mini someone and get hit once?

or 100 times so you could just use a potion?

i doubt itll work though as you get hit once and boom! 7777 so not helpful against bosses but i think thats as good as youll get naturally

i do know that if you have 9970 hp (like barret does at lvl 99 i think), put on 2 -10% materia and one -2% materia youll get 7777 exact.

or go to catuar island and get hit by 1000 needles and restore with uhhhh? i dont know...thatd out you back at 7778.....nevermind!

Edit
ok uhh i think i know how to work this out know. mini and manipulate an enemy with your 7778 hp, have said enemy attack you. 7777 you win battle and you are awesome. but!!! now with one hp use cats bell until you have 77 hp and blabitty boo use potions and pooof! like magic appears......and you have 7777 hp. of course hp + materia might interfere so.....yeah......wow this is a long edit

Edit
i can't believe i edited an edit...

Edit
hey im a red wing pilot! ahh! must stop.....EDITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok now i truly know how to. if your person has 9999 hp, K.O them and use a pheonix down. You will have 2499 hp. use cats bell to get the last 2 digits 77 and use potions to get 7777

Hmm thats a good method it saves you from using demi 2. Thats probly the easiest to do in my opinion, i meen u can kll yourself so easily in battle then simply use pheonix down and ur pretty much done.

dont chocobos rule? i found a hole in your trick as you may have seen in the "cats bell problems" topic. The cats bell adds up to the nearest even number and not +2 every time therefor it would go to 78 not 77.Best bet to get to 154 then demi 2 like people have said.

LoL yeh, but if ur lookin for lucky 7's get ur last 3 digits under 154 and use cats bell to get it there, fly to wuitai fight a turtle looking thing on the beach which will only attack you if you attack it that way u can use demi 2 easily and get to 77 on the last 2 digits then use potions and hi potions to get to 7777 or ur desired health. (lucky 7's rocks with double quadra comet biggrin.gif)

i have no use for 7777 anymore as ive killed Ruby and Emerald. and i dont need to master stuff anymore cause...well....i killed ruby and emerald. I'll probably start another game over though. it took me awhile to beat ruby cause i went in with 7777 and attacked.....0 dmg. so i did w-item potion and dazer. the i still didnt kill him with 7777 (no clue how) so i used a pheonix down on the others and they had lucky 7s but i could control them. i ended up dying though. final attack-pheonix saved me and i killed him with knight of the round thumbup.gif

i found another way. if you have 9999 hp, run away from as many battles until you can get the last 2 digits to 77 (basically 22 battles, 222 battles. or heck, maybe even 2222 battles if you're close enough). then use chocobuckle on yourself and use potions until you have 7777 hp!!! if you dont know how many battles you've run from, go to that old man who gives you the mythril and sometimes he'll say how many battles you've run from. or just use chocobuckle.

Edit
AGHHH! im sorry. i really have to stop accidentally double posting....sorry!

true, but you just need the last 2 digits to be 22 so you can just use potions to get there. saves the frustration of accidentally (sp?) of hitting 156 with the cats bell and using gravity and stuff. plus i think you can run from the zolom so just sit there and hold down R1 and L1. easy running. oh if you have a turbo controller and you want easy ap, put o0n turbo, use ap weaps (apocalypse, etc) and use a weight od something of that sort (book, something that wont kill ur controller if you put it on) to put down the O button. turbo will take care of you, now just go into the swamp and sleep or something
