For those who have seen Full Metal Alchemist, he'd be best described as a chimera (not the same chimera you fight in the game). He's been patched together and reformed so much, it's a miracle he's still himself at all. I think Hojo is just insane, so what resulted entirely defies logic. But no, he is definitely not a vampire, unless you equip drain materia on him (still technically not a vampire, but that's as close as your getting).

Vincent was Lucrecia's bodyguard and he developed a ''thing'' for her. She picked to go with Hojo, and donate her unborn child, Sephiroth, as a test subject. This appalled Vincent, so he tried to stop Hojo, who shoots and experiments on Vincent. Vincent, when he realized he was immortal and had no control over his actions when transformed, forced himself to sleep, hoping he would never plague theworld with monstrosities such as Death Gigas or Chaos. More or less correct, minus the immortal part -- that's debatable (though if you think of it literally, we wouldn't have needed to use phoenix downs on him if he was!)

Vincent isn't a vampire. Maybe he doesn't age, maybe he's immortal- that'll probably be debated for awhile. (If there isn't some answer in DoC.) But like Elena said, he doesn't really have any of the characteristics of the normal depiction of a vampire.
Personally, I think he stopped aging (or perhaps he has slowed aging, whatever), I mean he did sleep in a coffin for like 30 years. (CIW.) -------------------- |

hes not a vampire, i dont think this, i kno it.
if he was a vampire he cudnt walk right out of the shinra mansion in the day cud he? an since when did he bite someones neck? how can u think hes a vampire? omg lol -------------------- In the end, it boils down to two simple choices. Either you do or you don't. |

i know hes not a vampire. i said that because i was, yes wondering what the hell happened to him, game informer had an article on DoC and said he was. i wanted to make sure he wasnt
