Palette Pointers for Chocobo and Magitek

I've been trying to create my own character on FFVI using different editors.
I moved the choco/magitek palette (overworld#7) into a blank palette (overworld#27) using LordJ's Sprite Editor, and set Gogo's default palette to 7 using a hex editor.
Is there some way for me to set the default palette for chocobos and magitek to #27? I noticed character sprite palettes wouldn't work above the #8 palette.

EDIT: Sorry, maybe I wasn't very clear. Basicaly, I was wondering if anyone knows the locations of the overworld palette pointers for chocobos or magitek armor. You can see my problem here:

As unoriginal as it is, I'm adding cloud.

Also, I was wondering where gogo's special abilities are stored (like using any allies magic or swapping skills) so that I may disable them.

Any help would be much apreciated! Thanks!
