I know some of you might think I’m making just a plain normal RPG but I’m not really. I am currently typing my own battle system and everything goes well so far.

But I need some help mainly with ideas; if you’re interested in my project and giving me ideas, please continue reading.

My battle system looks pretty much like usual FF, but in this case, it will be 4vs4 battles since there are only 8 players available. The game will be multiplayer, yet it will be possible to play it alone as exp will be shared within the party.

So, I simply need suggestions…

- Jobs (currently I have: Magic Warrior [Most powerful, yet hardest to get (only for main character)], Ranger, White Mage, Treasure Hunter, Mercenary, Celestial Warrior [posted it in FFT forum], Summoner, Dragoon)
I already checked the “Invent a class” topic but I lacked of interest in some jobs.
- Skills (please include if the attack can miss, Physical/Magical/Ignore Def, can critically hit, status effects, MP cost, targeting, the skill’s strength, graphics [how it will look like in the game], HP/MP damage/restoration(or both), elemental, etc.)
- Status effects (I won’t have too much but I really can’t think of anything)
- Mini-games
- Side quests
- A name for my RPG (I can't find ANYTHING)
- Anything you may find good

I’m writing the game’s script and doing a lot of trigger manipulations. I won’t abandon this project, I’m sure of it this time since it’s to big to just throw it away smile.gif.

Why am I not doing this in WCIII? Not only I hate WCIII’s graphics and gameplay, but my computer hardly supports that game. And anyway, pushing Starcraft to the limit is fun smile.gif.

This will officially be my first RPG but I doubt anyone won’t like it. I have already 2 betatester (IRL friends) but if you’d like to join, just ask.

For any question, feel free to ask. Please give me a suggestion though, it would really be appreciated.

In progress:
- Accuracy system
- Speed system (with clockticks)

Finished, or completed for now:
- Damage calculation (for HP/MP and healing)
- Barrier preventing to exceed max HP/MP
- Experience table

~800 triggers?
