Rumor: You can get Aeris back if you make the correct choices throughout the entire game. Is it true? And if so how?

How do you know? A simple "no" cannot stop a rumor... You don't know if you have made the correct choices...

Oh my. I believe you can get her back using Gameshark for the Japanese version. There are various rumors about getting your characters at lvl 99 before she dies, and having some strange list of items like tissues, the Apocolypse...but all of them have been proved false.

The way i've heard it, u need to make all the correct choices (especially in midgar) like of what to say, who to date, who to give the flower to, etc

No, she can't be revived. There's no sequence in the game's programming to put her back in the party. (Or whatever the technical term is.) You can hack her into the party. (Cheating device, Jenova program, etc.), but there's no in-game way to bring her back. Sorry.
I never use her any more anyway. Cid ftw. -------------------- |

After you get the prop masamune and clean sweep from speed square and get 99 tissues from battle square go to Gongonga reactor. Use the clean sweep to fix the reactor, which ends up exploding again. your party we be knocked unconscious and Zack comes and grabs you out of the debris. Zack joins your party he comes with one limit break, Cherry blossom. Afterwards have Zack in your party and go to Aeris house in disc 3 Zack will start a chant amongst the flowers which brings Aeris back to life. However she won't join your party she goes solo again and gets killed by sephiroth in the Northern Crater, right before the final battle. THe ending seemse to make more sense that way. [/SARCASM] Possible spoilers: highlight to view I sure hope you didn't read all that -------------------- "Have you ever seen a baby do that before?" |

You cannot get Aeris back. Ever. You could use a GameShark or other cheating device, but that is it. She is dead. Forever. She's not coming back. Even if you get 99 Tissues and get a Pruple Chocobo to go underneath the Midgar Swamp and fight the Onyx WEAPON, she'll still stay dead. Always. Because she died. And she cannot come back to life. Therefore you cannot revive her. Ever. Not now. Not tomorrow. Not ever. Not if Squenix remakes it. Not then, not now, not ever.
And whoever it was that said she 'sucks' obviously is ignorant of how to use her. While Final Fantasy VII is a game where for many random battles you can simply hold Attack down, Aeris is extremely useful, as she is the strongest magic-caster in the game (debatably; Vincent can surpass her if he gets the right bonuses). By sticking her in the back row and giving her armor such as the Edincoat or the Wizard's bracelet and an accessory such as Earrings, she can easily outdamage the rest of the party. Even casting a first level Ice spell (or better yet, hitting weakness) in random battles takes up a minimal amount of MP as early as the Train Graveyard and will usually do as much if not more damage than, for example, Cloud's sword. Add in her defensive Limit Breaks, which are arguably 'stronger' than any other characters', and Aeris is quite solid. To be honest, her HP isn't that bad, especially if you keep her in the back row. To be fair, her physical attack and stamina aren't the best, but once again, sticking her in the back row and using cheap little spells is a great idea. Plus, the more materia on her, the more powerful her magic gets! As early as Niebelheim, you can have her casting Shiva every random battle and ending it instantly. Now, if you read all that I commend you. I do enjoy Aeris as a character, and, yes, I cried the first time she died for me. However, I see that her loss was necessary. For plot reasons as well as the fact that she would have begun to overpower the other characters soon. Anyway, that's all ![]() |

I always believed that she was overpowered because she was going to die, at least, I would think that makes sense how she's so overpowered.
And yeah, somebody has to sacrifice themself, if we learned enough from before. xD -------------------- |

Why would you want her back? She doesn't talk if she was in your party. And at the fountain in the City of Ancients she can be standing there while Cloud is just talking about her and so on. A mod will probably be closing this soon, though this is just a guess. If you look at other websites they all say the same thing! Although a while back someone said he was a maker of a the game and started the biggest rumour ever since fighting Cheese Weapon. You had to go through a sever amount of steps just to revive her, it would be a good side-quest....if it existed.
So moral for the next person to post this question: NO -------------------- Kel'Thuzad: She is persistent. Reminds me of you, death knight. Arthas:Shut up you damned ghost. -Warcraft III Kel'thuzad comparing Arthas and Sylvanas Windrunner. |
