just thought I'd make a general thread for posting errors and typoes in the new FFT portion of the site.

While glancing through the character pages, these typoes are what I've found:

Oracle: zombie spell should read "undead", not "undeed".

Summoner; Cyclops summon quote reads "clops". (unless it actually does say this in-game, I've never gotten cyclops...)

R51: This is correct as it stands.

Priest: spell "Shell" and "Shell 2" currently read, "Casts: Sheel"

Samurai: Kotetsu quote reads "Kotetu".

I think it's supposed to be that way. The game does have engrish in it, and Josh wants that intact.

R51: I'm not sure about this one yet. Neal should have the list of all quotes, so I'll trust him to review it.

Monk: Chakra description should read "concentration of Ki".

Chemist: reaction - auto potion - should read "this is and effective way..."

R51: lol, your fix had a typo of its own. It's fixed, though.

LoL, I was telling myself the whole time I was writing this little report that I was going to make a typo somewhere...

Ninja (and others): some basic skills have a period after their descriptions, others don't.

This is what I've found so far... obviously, this is such a huge and extensive archive (awesome work, staff) that there are bound to be many errors, and so far it's very good.  Good job, again.

I take the onus of the blame for most of these errors.  It's easy to slip into a lull during a long data entry session and that's when those types of mistakes tend to happen.  

If anyone finds any more spelling and typing errors don't be shy about posting them here.  The error may seem little, but with each mistake fixed, the more the CoN's integrity of information is increased.

Unfortunately, reporting an error like this doesn't really help us very much. Though the error may exist, giving us no information other than the error forces us to search through sections until we find it. Is this an enemy skill? Is it a movement skill? Is it in the text of the walkthrough?

Until we know exactly what the error is, we can't search through umpteen bytes of text to fix it. So please, everyone, be as detailed as possible when you report something to us. We can't read your mind.

Why aren't you shopping AmaCoN?

in the support abilites it says float-2 and float-2 says increase jump by 2 i looked down at the jump abilities there was no jump-2 however jump-1 and 3 said the same as float 2, just with the 1 or 3 instead of the 2

I've also found a minor problem.  When I go to the user reviews section, The FFT Reviews lists the FF6 Reviews.

With the Germonik Scriptures, please be aware that that was copied word for word.  "thatk" was definitely a typo, but if there is a lot of incorrect grammar or misplaced punctuation, don't mention it here because it's most likely straight from the game.  There are a lot of poor translations in FFT, but they're kinda fun to leave in, just to make fun of.  Maybe we should add a "funny mistranslations" section to the site, or something.

But back on topic, with Germonik, if the typo is obvious, like the random k, go ahead and say it, but again, if it's grammar or punctuation, it's probably in the game that way.
