i am at cosmo canyon, and sat around listening to him talk about the life energy going to the planet doing all his talking, i got the where i can move cloud around, but i cant exit or do anything, i seem to be trapped what now, how do i get out

K I think I konw which part you're talking about, and if I'm right, then you need to do the cave of gi quest before you can leave cosmo canyon. You have to go up the stairs on the left side of the town and go up until you're in a room with a ladder to the north, a door to the west, and a sealed door to the east. He should open the door for you and you can go in the cave.

If you can't go to the cave you might need to go to the Cosmo Candle (the camp fire) and talk to everyone (Red XIII last) then you can go to the Cave of the Gi.

welll the problem is i take 2 people with me into the observatory, barret and tifa. i get in and see the dazzling light show, shows the planets the souls entering the planet, the shooting star and the guy just hovering well when that is over. i seem to be trapped in the room he is still floating i can see all the planets, but there is no way to exit, just stuck in that room with the planets, no door or anything

Have you tried talking to anyone or examining any objects.

cant seem to talk to anyone i walk through barret, and cant talk to tifa, floating guy is at the cieling, so cant do anything with him

Maybe the game has frozen. Try putting in another disc at that point
