How about the idea of making FF7 from anoterher characters view? it would probably suck, but! i would totaly buy it just because ^^

FFVII isn't shown from any particular point of few, true enough it focuses on Cloud and the adventures he gets himself into, though at the same time, it touches on many other characters and their own backstories. Remember that for a while, you were in control of Aeris, Tifa and Cid.

Still, more versions of the game, prequels and sequels, enough is enough. I don't think we'd need anymore senseless FFVII gaming going about, it's already killing the game for me as is.

Sticking the game into a sole character's point of view would limit just how much of the game you can see, your interaction with characters and even just how far into the story you go. Someone who joins up towards the end like Cid wouldn't know as much as let's say, Barret or Tifa, would had been there since the beginning.

Enough is enough, I say.

Aeris, when Cloud stays atop Shinra HQ to deal with Rufus and Tifa stays behind to wait for him. You take control of Aeris, Barret and Red XIII to reach the elevator and fight...um, I forget the name of that robot enemy, but still.

After Cloud falls into the lifestream, up until you visit Mideel, you're in control of Tifa, and play through her to do all things you'd normally do. Once you finally do visit Mideel and Tifa stays with Cloud, Cid becomes the appointed leader and takes charge of the battle on Sephiroth, wherein you take control of him and try to get some of the Huge Materia.

You also control Tifa and have her point of view inside the Lifestream itself, while trying to help Cloud recover his thoughts and memories.

I think that's about it, but it shows that the game itself branches off to many characters and their individual points of views, provided they are in your party.

FFVII has become the new mario. Enough spinoffs, please, before we see Final Fantasy VII party. The game was good, and though many probably wanted more, you gotta face that the magic is over. The last thing I need is another Star Wars Episodes I,II,III.
