I know that Amano does concept art of all the main numbered games, but has he done artwork for FFT? I ask this because I recently saw this piece:

Yeah. Looks really Amano-esque, unless someone else drew it. I want more. If Amano drew artwork of FFT...I...just....*dies*

So, does anyone know?

Edit: Okay, it turns out this is an Amano piece. Does anyone know where I can find more? *drools frantically*

I've never heard of Amano having done work for Tactics and it seems a bit different than Amano's works (nonetheless beautiful however).

Now that is an awesome Ramza! Funny that Amano's work on FFT (if it, indeed, goes beyond Ramza) isn't as prominent as the rest of his FF art. Definitely a pleasant surprise smile.gif .

It's alot better than his FFVII/VIII works (which were just kinda...bland and boring.) *sigh*, I hope there really are more however.

Edit: Actually, this is the site that had it. From the looks of it, Amano and Nomura drew an illustration of Ramza. (So I don't see any other Tactics art from Amano...:/)

This page. Arrgh! Kanji!! And other things my browser won't display properly.

*hopes someone here knows kanji.>>;*

the works on the website are neither amano's, nomura's, or even official. they are supposed to be amano- and nomura-style versions of ramza by a fanartist named "BELiaSwc." amano and nomura did not do concept artwork or anything for fft; nomura was busy with ff7 in that era, and square had the foresight to get rid of amano's staleness by then.

Ah, thank you then. Well, they certainly are impressive, to look so authentic, aren't they? biggrin.gif

Wow, that looks most outstanding. I agree that Amano-esque pictures of other characters would be cool like Delita, Dycedarg, and Elmdor. He did his best work in FFVI in my opinion.
