this is a buster sword i made in a 3d program its not done yet but i wanted to see what all of you thought of it so far.

I don't think you should put artwork that isn't done yet. Finish it then show us. You should also try to save the picture as .PNG or .GIF because .JPEG sucks at fresh quality. And you should cut off the very extra long size on the picture, just select the sword and save it at that size, then it would be faster to load atleast for 56k users.
The shape does look good, but the handle looks too bright and shouldn't be too brown. More like a *dusty* red/brown that would work better. |

I'm interested in how this turns out. Looks like you've got a good start on it!
My one beef thus far is the wooden handle. I don't remember seeing a wooden handle on Cloud's weapons, and steel looks just so much more stronger and.. I think that you should shorten the blade, and make the holes a bit bigger. Still it's looking good so far.

Use some color tones to make the blade and the hilt and handle stand out from each other a little more.

I like the top-right one the best. Nice addition of materia in the slots.

IMO, i see three things you may need to work on. 1) the materia slots are a bit too big, they should be just a little bit bigger around than the handle. 2) the materia slots should be centerd more in the middle, where the handle is. 3) the handle should be maybe three four inch's longer.
