I've only played FFVI,VII,VIII,IX,X,X-2. I don't really want everyone voting Sephiroth because i know he is most popular.

My favorite villain is Kefka, because throughout the game I truly wanted to kill him. He's just so evil and dresses like a clown, he's just asking to get killed. Then, to top it off, he kills General Leo, and that's just unforgivable.

My favorite villain is probably Wiegraf from Final Fantasy Tactics. A deep personality and a penchant for kicking some serious booty helps out.....

Meh. They're all pretty boring. (Except the Tactics villians, which have some sort of background.) Still, I guess I'll vote Kefka.

My favorite FF villain is the cross-dressing, narcisstic mage with a poetic tongue, Kuja. He was a deep character with almost a tragic story. He sought the destruction of everything after he found out he was going to die like everybody else, only to have a change of heart and turns good at his last moments before his untimely death. The over-rated Sephiroth might be big, tough, and bad powerhouse with an obscenely long sword and high-level magic powers and Kefka (second place fave for me) more insane than any baddie in history, but Kuja gets the number 1 spot for villainy in my book.

Fungah! Foiled again...oh sorry this is just Final fantasy right?

In that case "I don't give a damn about avenging Miluda's murder."
Who could have seen that coming?

Or maybe even"I will knock you all down!"

Honorary mention "Get out of my way, I'm going to see my mother" and
"Shut-up chicken wuss"

oh sorry, I meant Wiegraf, Garland, Sephiroth and Seifer.
And Bowser, he owns! smile.gif

Does it have to be FF? Please reply, and when i edit the post it will have my villian.
Ugh.....fine for Squenix it would be Seifer on FF8.no not just for looks but for his quest for power
And for non-squenix game it's none other than the Mad King Ashnard from FE9,and The Black Knight.

Kefka, lovable yet yet hate....able.... And cause he ACTUALLY destroy's the world

Kuja is a second cause he's pretty cool looking and the only other person who managed to destroy the world (Before Necron was trashed reversing the effects)

Then maybe Seph is third, he nearly destroys the world

I think my favorite villian has to be Golbez. Not only does he look bad in his dark suit of armor, he's wickedly powerful.

Kuja, for all reason stated above, one thing similar between him and Golbez:
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
They are both related to the main character, Golbez is Cecil's brother, as Kuja is to Zidane.

You probably mean Zemus. *Isn't meaning to be nitpicky*
Possible spoilers: highlight to view

Since Zeromus is just our good old 'I'm the epitome of darkness who appears out of nowhere and you have to fight me because I'm the final boss", and not actually the creepy moonman behind everything. Although Golbez does everything for 95% of the story anyway.

While Kefka is just an great, insane psychotic murderer, I love him all too much, and he is just my favorite great, insane psychotic murderer; not my favorite Villian.

My favorite Villian award goes to Garland. Why? He tells you he'll knock you all down, then confuses you with some story about time-warp, and then he turns into a dragon.

What an awesome Villian. o.o

Even though she might not be considered a villain, Yuffi! she is a ninja thief, what is it not to love about her as a villain? as a hero she sucks though.

Seifer just because of his attitude. Although Kuja was pretty cool but his story was very much influenced by Sephiroth's I think.

Yeah, that guy was kick ass, in the strangest way possible. I saved that one-on-one battle with him in another slot just so that I could replay that.

Also, Golbez was a great villan,
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
THough technically he isnt the real villan, being possessed and all, but still, that guy had some sweet armor, oh and the totally chiched, yet still surprising fact that he's Cecil's brother

Exdeath. How could you not like him!? He is so cool and his mutated form is much more fierce looking than Zeromus, Necron, Bizarro Sephiroth, Safer Sephiroth, and Kefka's tower monsters combined! Though the towers looked pretty fearsome too.

Kefka fails as a true villain. He is a clown without a circus who can't atleast say something Jim Carrey. What's with you FF6 fanboys sleep.gif

I, Garland, will knock you all down!

Seifer and Kuja most fit what I look for in a villain. Zemus is the only godlike evil being of the series that appeals strongly to me.

Okay, it goes:

1- Kefka
2- Sephiroth
3- Seymour

Okay, there.

Kuja, how does he get away with wearing those knickers (panties)?
Apart from those knickers he look's pretty good to me (somthing about the long white hair) and I kinda like the way his own story develoups.
Still, the only games I have from Squenix are IV, V and IX, so I have no idea if I'd prefer another villian from another game.

Garland, because of the incredible plot twist in Final Fantasy One
Possible spoilers: highlight to view
him actually being the final boss,Chaos, with the plan that I never truly understood... "I'll keep being killed, but I'll come back, and then die again, and again!!! HAHAHA!!! It will be great!!!"

What was he trying to acomplish? eh.gif

Also, for "I, Garland, will knock you down!!!"

And for serious, my favorite villain in any Square, Enix, or Squenix game is probably either Kefka, Magus, Grahf, Delita (if he counts), or Millenia (if she counts).

right now I'll go with Kuja, he is pretty much a summation of the villians from FF 1-VII wrapped into a little neat package. To top that off he is confident enough to walk around in a speedo in the snow.

Runner-up would be Golbez for reasons stated above
