I don't know if you can get it in the bone village. It's under midgar. Go the opposite way from hojo like ten screens and it's lying on the floor

You can't dig for W-Item , the only place you can get is when you return to Midgar and you get to the underground pathway you need to go south for a while. There will be a save point there too

I know what he's referring to. In the page on W-Item, for locations, it says: "Midgar (Subway tunnels under Sector 8), Bone Village (If you missed it in Midgar)". And really, I think that was a misprint or something. I missed it in Midgar, and spent about 2 hours digging for both types of treasure and never found it. Oh well, who knows? Although, if in fact it was a mistake, they sorta need to fix it.
