Ugh! Okay, here's the problem. Whenever someone posts an attachment image, I can never view it! It just goes to a page filled with garbage. And I can't for the life of me figure out why. I am using Firefox, if that's a problem. Still, it's really confusing. :/

A couple questions:
1) Is it really happening on every image attachment, or is it happening only on one person's attachments? 2) Have you tried in IE or another browser to make sure that it's limited only to Firefox? If it's happening only in Firefox, I assume it to be some sort of MIME type weirdness in your config, but if you can answer those two questions it might help. 1- It's happening on all image attachements, not just a persons. (However, they work just fine when I right-click/view image.)
2- I'll go check right now. Edit: 2- Okay, it's just Firefox. Still, now that I know how to open them, it doesn't really matter anymore. Thanks! This post has been edited by Zeromus_X on 5th June 2006 19:17 -------------------- |

Wait up! I still want to fix it.
Could you go to About from the Help menu, and copy and paste the version string from the bottom? And just link me to an example topic where this happens so we can confirm a specific place it occurs? Thanks. |

Thanks - same problem here on 2.0a3, so it's definitely not version specific.
The site seems to be serving up the image as text/html for some reason. I'll see if there's anything I can do about it. Edit: Yeah, the new version of PHP changes the way some of the code related to this works. Should be fixed now. (As a side note, it's a good idea to upgrade to 1.5.0.4, or 1.0.8 if you really can't deal with 1.5.) This post has been edited by Tiddles on 5th June 2006 20:29 |
